Are you aware that if we died tomorrow, the company
That we are working for could easily replace us in
A matter of days. But the family we left behind will feel the loss For the rest of their lives.
And come to think of it, we pour ourselves more Into work than into our own family, An unwise investment indeed, Don't you think? Share your insight.

That is right, but that doesn't mean I have to discourage myself nor my husband to work. That is why I have to make sure that I give time to my family whenever I am not at work. We need work to have money in order to survive. We cannot just stay home and spend our time with them just because we think that the company we are working for could easily replace us in case. I think that's just a reminder to us that we have to learn to balance our time between our job and family.

In that case, I guess we know our limitations as employees. There might be times that we have to work more than the usual number of hours mandated, but we can always decline ones we feel that it's been happening frequently. Now if that is not possible, we can always make sure that what time left for us to spend with our family, we make it always worthwhile that our family won't forget. Everything really depends on us on how we want to be remembered. By doing so, I think our family will appreciate us.

Hi a_ce_e. There is always pros and cons in whatever we involve with. That is the reason why we need to know how to balance our time with family and work. Well, it is true that we spend most of our time working than family. But if we dont work, we cannot support our family financially. So, it is a win-win situation.

I agree, it is a sad reality that we really have to work in able for us to support our family. Given a chance to manage our time i guess could be sometimes a hard thing, so i think we better plan ahead so we won't miss opportunity to spend quality time with our family. Thank you for responding.

You have to work to survive and to make money. Besides if everyone who has a job outside the home quits, then those who work inside the home has to support them. Then the class of parasites would increase. You could work at home, but you might not be able to spend that more time with the family because you will be constructing furniture, making recipes, on the computer writing, on the computer giving and taking orders, making those nice frilly dolls, making pottery, candies, etc. or what can be done at home. The only way you can spend more time is to have a better job with more money or to invest what money you have so that you can reduce your hours and enjoy your family.

The truth is, we are working for our family, the company is just an instrument for us to move on and give comfort for our family. If we see it the other way, say for example, if the company shuts down its operation our reaction is look for another company to work with. Because we have to work for our family. Spending time with our family is a matter of time management. We can still spend quality time with them if we only manage our time properly.

Yes as what i have commented in the previous, time management make us enjoy life working and spending time with our family. In some companies, we are required to work hard at long hours. I guess the opportunity of time management relies also on us and the company we are working for.

My belief is that it is GOD who sustains life on the earth amd you can easily see HE gives food to billions of species with out any break, the ant and the blue whale both get their share. However we must be honest and hard working
