In the corporate world, for getting a job which of the two matter the most? Can you get a job with experience but no qualification or degree? Or both are equally important? I feel, you can get a job with qualification alone, but not with experience alone...

I think that it depends on the job more than anything else. It used to be the case that you could get a job on the basis of experience alone, I worked in archaeology for nearly 20 years without any formal qualifications in the subject but when I did tests at a univeristy they said that my experience and private study gave me a degree of knowlege equal to a degree in the subject. However I don't believe that it is possible now, (with the exception of appreniceships, which are a way for young people to get on the job training) for someone without an academic qualification to enter a profession and learn on the job.

It depends on the person.if he is a fresher with good qualification and good knowledge he can get job easily in the corporate field.i see many people who are good and serious about their studies getting good jobs with high salary in campus interviews.if he doesnot have good marks or have less qualification he might have to work somewhere to get some experience to meet the corporate needs and try for the job in that industry. Now the industry running behind the knowledge ,hard work and committment.Any person with the above skills can reach their dream goal.isnt it true?
