What to do with the birds while on vacation?

We are going to Disney in a few weeks and we have no clue what to do with the birds. My MIL who has raised birds will be out of town so we can't leave them with her. My aunt lives & works near by and will be checking in on the cats, but she doesn't like birds (she would take care of them, but she is terrified of birds!). This will be the first time that we are leaving the animals alone for longer than a day, so I don't know how they will act. They normally the cats leave the birds alone, but who knows what will happen over the course of a few days. Any ideas?

Probably there are not many agencies that care for birds when going on vacations, ulike cats & dogs where we can use kennels. I always get my Father to look after my birds. A service that is available here, are house pet minders. You pay people to come to your home & casre for your pets properly. They are people who love pets. Although your aunt will will check on the cats & birds, if they haven;t been used to you going away, you may need someone else who can also do a checkup. If there is only your Aunt, then there has to be somewhere you can put the birds where the cats will not gtet them. Leave plenty of toys out for the cats, or they will get destructive. Good Luck.

Thanks for the advice. My MIL called yesterday and said that she will definitely be coming back around the time that we are leaving. If she isn't there my BIL will be home if she isn't. Thankfully we found a place for the birds. To bad we have to drive about 30 minutes to get them there and when we get in we will have to drive 30 minutes to pick them up.
