My hubby took me out to dinner and then we walked around the lake and it was so nice outside. It was dark and the lights were on around the lake and there were other people walking around there too. We got about half way around the lake and he asked if we could turn around and I said yes. Well when we turned around he got down on one knee and asked me. It was sweet and I could tell he was so nervous.

My husband never did propose to me. From the first day we met we just talked about how we were going to get married. I remember him telling me he called his grandfather and told them that he had just met their future granddaughter in law. This was the morning after we had gotten off work and talked for the first time the night before. It was just suppose to happen and we knew. We just formally announced our engagement for family and friends.

I'm not engaged to my GF and don't think we'll get engaged any time soon. Honestly I don't really see the point.

My husband proposed to me on Christmas Eve. He came running out of a room and I was sitting on the couch. He got down on his knee and asked me to marry him. I thought he was joking and the first thing out of my mouth was "NoWay!" I wasn't saying no, I was just not believing him. Then he showed me the ring!
