when ever me and my hubby are watching tv and a good looking girl comes on he makes these weird noises and sometimes say "damn" well then i ask him why we cant watch tv without all of that and he just usually says something that does not make sense and we get in an argument. he thinks i am jealous but i try to explain to him that i am watching tv and do not want to hear all of that.

Hi, indywahm. I can understand why you got mad, your husband should not make outbursts like that while you two are watching television. That is very rude of him. He sounds just like my father, When I would be around my father, I remember one time when he saw this woman walking and she had a big rear end, my father said, "Damn" in front of me. I saw that he was looking in the direction towards where the woman was walking. My dad is married, but do you think that he cares the least? Nope, not one bit! What a shame!

If my husband did that, I would threaten to duct tape his mouth so I didn't have to hear that. My husband has to yell at the cops when they do things that he thinks is stupid when watching Cops. I just laugh and let him rant and rave. Next time, you hubby decides to make those sounds during those commericals then jokingly threaten to tape his mouth shut. Just remember that you are not alone.

Doesn't sound like this is something to fight about. More likely a fight about considering feelings. Anyway, he is a guy and guys are basic and minimal when it is television watching. It is amazing and shows me how simply their brains are wired. I hope you don't confront him again while in front of the television since it seems to add to the underlying problems. Good luck with this.

Most men feel that way but are not always that vocal especially in mixed company. For us, being visual creatures. Beauty hurts, often in a good way. You see an attractive women out of no where and feel a primal urge deep inside, that is some times vocalized when in private or with other guys around. Your husband however, since he knows the way you feel. Should keep the noise to a minimum if not cut it out entirely. It is rude and disrespectful, not to mention impolite. On a positive note, he probably feels a trust and a closeness towards you that he can act out what he feels. That is to say is being himself and keeping real. More importantly he is comfortable enough with you to be able to do that. Minnie Mouse is HOT! filmbuff

Your husband loves to do that? That is annoying. Is he trying to make you jealous? And what does he mean by "it doesnt make sense?" Would he also appreciate it if you would start making noises whenever a hunk comes into the set. I suggest you ignore him for a while, maybe he just wants to get a reaction from you everytime he does that. Men..they are such a bother sometimes. Good luck..tell me if it works..

Just start making noises and saying "damn" when good looking guys are on the tv... I think he'll get the point before long. ;~D
