Do you love to cook something special for your family?

I have to say even though I don't always do it I love to cook and know my family will love it. This morning I am making my sticky buns though it isn't hard my family thinks it is this special treat and loves when I make it for them. It is really easy. Put out frozen bread dough and let it thaw (I put it out before I go to bed so it is ready in the morning) Tear off walnut sizes pieces of dough and put in a cake pan. In a pan on the stove put 1 stick of butter, 1 cup of brown sugar, 3T of milk and 1 package of non instant butterscotch pudding mix. Bring this to a boil. Pour over dough. Let rise 30 minutes then back at 350 for 258 minutes. It is so easy and this morning I will be the best mom on earth to my family!! Do you have things like that your family likes and that you like to make?

I love to cook. In that if its fav of family then its best I can do I feel.Today I`m going to make simple cheese sandwhich &My family loves it that makes me smile too

Hi TriciaW! I think the family is special to everyone. We all like o pamper our family members. I too like to cook something special at times and i would be mostly Chicken i cook. Mostly i make desserts too.

My kids like it when I fix Cinnamon rolls. It is just as easy as your sticky bun. Only instead of putting the dough in the pan the way you do It is rolled out about 1/8 inch thick. Covered with butter, sugar and brown sugarans sprinkel with cinnamon and some time I add raisens or pecans. Roll the dough up slice and put in a greased cake pan let raise and bake 350 until nicely browned. May be topped with frosting. The kids like them when we have chili I also like to try new dishes on them. Sometimes they go over big and some times they run the other direction.
