JOEY or CHANDLER ??

Chandler he seems more well rounded then Joey

chandler is more smart but joey is still funny with his dumbness

Definetely Chandler - he's much better looking than Joey and definetely smarter. Though Joey and Chandler together made such a good duo act - acting like an old married couple!!! He's my favourite character on Friends because his jokes are just the best of the lot - i love smart sarcastic one-liners which he is full of and pulls off very well. I also think he's the only friends character who actually helps with the script.

Joey obviously and then Ross... joey is very funny. he has portrayed a dumb guy though but thats what makes him sound more funny. Whatever he has got a strong body. No doubt he is the jaan of the series

Joey is my favorite character, but Chandler is more smart. But its just a character. Im sure both real life actors are both intelligent.

I think Chandler is smarter. Maybe I think this way because of the way that Joey acts sometimes but I think Chandler is definetely smarter than Joey.

I prefer Chandler, he's actually my favorite character on the show. I feel that his humor carried the show for a few seasons. Matthew Perry was great at delivering all the lines as well!

I always thought Chandler was the funniest characters on Friends - he's also good looking, I found him more attractive that Joey actually. So to me Chandler is better looking, funnier and definitely way more intelligent that Joey, so he gets my vote:)

Well, speaking of intelligence it'd have to go to Chandler. I don't think Joey is smarter than anyone on that show! Lol. But he's way cute, I love that entire cast so much. Ross was probably my favorite, geeky yet cute and funny. They should really do some kind of Friends:The Movie type of thing, I really miss them.

At the beginning of the show, Joey was a bit silly but somehow streetwise. On later seasons he became plain dumb. Chandler is rather silly, but smarter than Joey. I've always found Chandler's jokes funnier than Joey's. So my vote goes to Chandler.
