Telephone Boxes!

I haven't used a good, old fashioned telephone box for many years. I always use my home phone, or my mobile. If caught without my mobile, or it goes flat, I use a friends phone.. There is still a need for old fashioned telephone boxes. There are many people who still can't afford mobile phones, or they can't afford much in the way of credits. We must have phone boxes available for emergencies too.

Telephone boxes are very widely used here and almost every shop will have such public telephones to make extra money. It is very economical than cell phones. I use them more than cell phones.

No I do not use them at all I have my Mobile and I prefer to use that I also find that Telephone Boxes are not hygienic they spread Germs as so many People use the Phone and you do not know what these People have got If they where cleaned regular ok that would not be so bad I would not miss them at all

Well the sad thing here in London, is you can rarely find a telephone box that hasn’t been vandalised, so it’s impossible to find one you can use. Because of that, I tend always to use my mobile phone because it’s more convenient than rushing around trying to find a box that is actually working!! However, I do like the good old-fashioned telephone boxes – I think they add to the character and appearance of a place – especially in some old villages here in England – a bit like the old, red post boxes.
