They are National Citizens Neighborhood Watch - Securing the American Border. According to their web page, their mission is: To secure United States borders and coastal boundaries against unlawful and unauthorized entry of all individuals, contraband, and foreign military.
There is a rotating picture on their web page telling about innocent US citizens who have been attacked or killed by illegal aliens entering our country. They say 45,625 Americans have been Killed Since 9/11. I never heard of this until farely recently. Check out their web page. It's interesting.

I've never heard of the group, but I just checked out the web page. It's interesting, but I wonder if the statistics are accurate. I think we need to have border protection, and we have every right to protect ourselves, as other countries do. This does seem to be a problem today, and I don't think enough is being done about it. I have heard about border guards being killed by illegals.

We should have more of these groups since they will be a line of defense against our government if and when they go bad. I like the job they are doing at the border. This is how our country was founded by our people fighting the good fight for our freedoms and ways of life. I hope they are never disbanded unless of course they go bad. Thanks for bringing this discussion to this site.

I've heard of them, I was just checking out our local state's website the other day. Like someone else mentioned, they are just like an extra set of eyes. If they suspect illegal activity whether it be actual illegals aliens or companies that may be hiring them, they contact the appropriate authorities-ICE, TBI, FBI whatever. They're not a vigilante group. I have no problems with the group, I think it's great! Especially since we've just had another illegal alien(and they're NOT immigrants, they are aliens. Immigrants come here legally)kill a poor lady in a drunk driving accident. Seems he's been in trouble legally for several years now, including being here illegally, now another American has lost their life because of another illegal alien doing whatever they want without any regard to others or the law. Really makes it hard to sympathize with them.

I don't know much about this group. But 45,000 Americans killed is hard to believe. I would think this would be a major news item plastered all over the news. Are they saying that illegals just come across the border and kill people for no reason? I can understand the mission of this group, but are they sanctioned by the government? Or are they an armed group out on their own? Maybe I will go to the web site...thanks.

I have heard of this group. Glenn Beck did a story about this group. I have also heard stories where the United States government is trying to sabotage them as well. Apparently they are trying to show that this group of people and what they are doing isn't working. So anytime this group calls to tell them that there is some illegal immigrants crossing they border agents aren't allowed to show up till a couple of hours later. Makes you wonder what is more important to the United States government.

Its remotely interesting and very inflamatory.
How many US Citizens have killed US Citizens since 9/11?
According to the FBI, from Jan 2002 to December 2006 there have only been approximately 83,000 murders in the US. So using this statistic, unless you want to count accidental deaths (which should have no bearing on a statistic on the lawfullness of immigration) more than half of all murders would have to have been performed by illegal aliens.
Not even. I've done my time in Harlem, I've seen the fun in the Hill District in Pittsburgh. I've seen teens shoot at each other in Livermore of all places. We are too keen on killing each other for HALF of all murders to be by illegals.
I'm taking the FBI's stats on this one over some group of vigilante's who think that the law is there for them to break in the name of enforcing it. This ain't a DC Comic and they aren't Batman.
How many illegals have they killed I wonder?

I've heard of the 'minutemen' and I believe they do exist, but I have never heard that they have interest in the kind of acts mentioned above. 45,000? Out of proportion, but the minutemen may have a keen interest in preventing tyranny, as was mentioned in the U.S. Constitution.

I have heard of this group. As you know, I am not American but if I were I would be deeply suspicious of them. Can their claims be verified? Are they a vigilante group and undermine the efforts of your Government? Are they racist?
are they self appointed to secure your country's borders?
It seems to me the United States Government has enormous resources and manpower to perform all those duties in a lawful manner.

I have heard of this. There was a guy from this group who took part in the show 30 Days. This guy who was part of this Neighborhood Watch group had to go live with some mexicans who were living in America illegally for 30 days. It was pretty interesting to see how they interacted.

I find it hard to believe that anyone who keeps up with the news has not heard of the minutemen, They send volunteers to watch the border, but only action that they take is to inform border patrol when the see illegal action.
The one to worry about is Blackwater Mercenaries based in Eastern NC. They have tanks missiles and other weapons. They are paid by the US to fight wars. The so called civilian workers that were hanged on the bridge in Iraq were Blackwater paid troops.
They have the capability to start a war within the US.
