Fish can actually go quite a while without being fed. Easily 1-2 weeks, I've even heard of 3 weeks. Most will find leftover food on the bottom to nibble on, or even algae growing in the tank. I feed my fish once a day, and skip a day or two during the week. Best fish kept at home, just depends on the space you have for an aquarium really. Probably would've worked out better if you put them together when they were both small. I'd wait till maybe they're closer to the same size, and see if that works. Or maybe, if one's a male and one's a female, when they're both mature. Either way, good luck!!!

Wow....I've been way out of the loop, haven't watched much tv lately in the past few months, and haven't seen L&O in forever-always re-runs whenever I turn it on. But geez, Jeff Goldblum??? WTF? Dang, that's disappointing. I really liked Chris Noth, he's been on forever.

I don't think that's walmart's fault, those pygmy rattlers are everywhere down in Florida. My mom had one on her front porch, fortunately the UPS guy showed up and slammed the box on it lol. I'd see them at work down there all the time, we even had one of our dogs get bit in the nose by one. And they're small, stay under 12 inches. It depends on the type of fish. Livebearers like guppies, platies, mollies, etc. it's pretty easy-you look for the gonopodium in the males-the tube shaped appendage on their belly just before the tail. Zhu I agree with you 100%. But, pygmy rattlers are so small, you can't hear them rattle. They stay in the 12 inch range, and the ones I've seen up close, you can barely even see the rattle on them. Mean and nasty little buggers those snakes are.
