should be posted under, please advise your children about the new drug that is being touted on the street. It is strawberry flavoured Crystal Meth. It is pink in colour and packaged to look like candy, somewhat like pop rocks. This was on the news this week and also brought to our attention by our local newspaper. I have already spoken to both my daughters about it. DO NOT TAKE CANDY or anything else from ANYONE unless it is at the store or a teacher (teachers give away candies as prizes). I told them exactly what this drug looked like but warned them against taking anything because once the word gets out on this, the druggies will change the look of the "product" again. Why are they drugsters preying on our children? Is this like "Here's a free sample. You want more, come to me with money." Where are little kids going to get that kind of money? There was a time when they could steal it from their parents but most adults don't carry a whole lot of cash with the use of debit cards so prevalent. Everyone, beware of this drug (and any other drug) and educate your children. It could be a matter of life and death.
