I feel annoyed whenever I click 'the discussions i have responded'section.

Actually, why bother? myLot has implemented email notifications so you will receive an email if someone responds to your response. So just sit back and relax.. you do not need to keep checking. Also, commenting on responses takes a lot of time and if you do not already know, when the discussion poster comments on your response, he is not paid at all. Neither will his rating improve... And time is also scarce. :P

Cool, a good point made. If we answer something...we remain very eager to know the comments of host. It is but natural. I also eagerly look forward to comments on the replies posted by me. As fas as my discussions, are concerned...I try to comment on each and every reply, in normal course...but I am very busy or have little time...I just rate them...and offer my comments on a later date. I also believe in making the discussion lively...by posting comments, counter-comments and sub-comments. Thanks for good post! Deepak

If you wish to have the response noted you need to have your friends Notify ON and then you get the notification that you have been responded to on your response. I hope this helps. With strangers though I am not sure it works that way. I think it should much more than the banner and eye candy stuff that we don't need.

Wow that's pretty interesting. Do you often get a lot of hits on your discussions? Maybe things are just slow now. I have to say I've enjoyed reading the comments of others.

To be honest..I don't always go back and check mine. Not unless I ask a question or want to read what anyone else posts to the subject. When it comes to my discussions..I only answer them if I have something to add. Afterawhile of typing the same thing over and over I stop. Well, thats just proof that the member didn't take the time to read the whole thread.

Hey coolcat, I dont read all the comments in any discussion of others. I read all the comments on discussions started by me and comment on the responses as and when required. I dont respond if there is no need of responding. As lordwizard said, you can get the notification of the comments on your responses by activating the service from costumizing your profile/ editing your preferences. That would make it easier for you.

In my case, it's a matter of time. I try to respond to as many comments as I can. But, I just don't have time to respond to them all.
