I'm scared - Would like prayer

I ended up in the emergency room almost two weeks ago. They treated me for a kidney/ urinary tract infection. Went to the doctor yesterday and he tells me I didn't have an infection. He thinks I have kidney stones although they never show on any scans.
Anyway after over a week of antibiotics my white blood cell count only went down by 1000. He wants me back in tomorrow morning. I am rather scared actually. I think he thinks I have luekemia but researching that I only have two symptoms - fatigue and high white count.
Well the fatigue could easily be caused by my fibro, CFS or hypothyroidism AND my son not sleeping thru the night (last night he went through a five hour period of waking every half hour or so).
Oh and the pain has moved lower in my side now; which could also be a sign of kidney stones.
Please pray that I have an infection because that will easily solve the white cell issue and is easily treated.

I will definitely pray for you . I know what it is like to be scared that there is something wrong and not know what it is for sure . I went through this with my son when he was little because they thought he had lieukemia but it was only a broken vessel from a fall he took when his cousin was watching him but now we are going through this again for my daughter . She is bruising really easy and we are still waiting for the resulst . I have spoke to my step mother who is a nurse and she told me it didn't look good from what I was telling her but I am still hoping and praying and will add you to my prayers as well . I'm sorry you have to go through this, a friend of mine had the same problem, it turned out that she had several stones that were working their way down but were very hard to detect.
She ended up needing surgery to clean out her kidney because of how damaged the stones made it for her...
she was pretty ill after a while, i hope you get better, i'll be hoping for you.

I just prayed for you.
Try to think positively. It sounds to me just like you said...fibro and being up a lot at night. That would make you really tired.
I tend to always think the worst whenever something is wrong with me! I've learned that with God's help, I can get thru anything. You will be ok!

I also had to go to the emergency room for a kidney infection. But I'm sure that is what mine is. I have been taking my medication and my pain has eased up a bit. I sure hope i don't have kidney stones and that this gets better with the meds. I'll pray for you too.

I will definitely say a prayer or two for you! My best advice is although its hard dont think the worst until you have the facts. Stay positive. I overcame Stage four cancer in my ovaries. uterus and cervix! Most of all dont freak yourself out by researching until you have the facts!

OH you poor girl! I have had stones when I was 6 months pregnant and on and what a B*TCH that was! I also had UTI all the time and every time I went to the doc with pain he always said I had a UTI and then all of a sudden as yrs past by I ended up in the emergency room with a kidney infection after a week of suffering and just thinking I had the worst flu ever and wow was I ever sick!
I also blame the doctors for not diagnosing me properly and/or correctly because it could have prevented me from having a kidney infection if they did further testing and such.
I hope you don't end up with leukemia, what a terrible thing to suffer from, I wish you the best of luck and I do hope things end up better soon.. Wishing you for a quick recovery..

I wish you all the best, but try not to worry to much just yet you will make yourself sick and you don't need that. If the doctors where worried they would say something. I will be praying for you and I hope you can relax and calm your mind before you make yourself to sick. hugs.
