What do you usually do during summer break? Do you stay at home? Or go to a beach? Look for a summer job? There are lots of stuff you can do during summer break. I just stay here at home during summer. I get enough rest so I can be ready for the next school year.

not a whole lot since I'm not in school anymore. I might go out of town somewhere to go shopping just to get away.

Lucky you argie. I wish the past summer was a time for me to rest and relax too. But I'm not a student anymore. Summertime is always the least favorite season of mine. It means having to deal with my little girls all through 2 months of vacation. There are too many responsibilities and works to handle. I'm amazed I was able to keep my sanity and myself in one piece, LOL.

I used to work till 2004. I went out of the country on vacations during 2005 and 2006. I hope I will be out again this summer. I love traveling. It makes me feel rejuvenated and fresh. It breaks my routine and makes me think afresh. Of course one needs a lot of money for taking out of the country trips. I think one can always save by restricting all expenses than are necessary in order to have a trip abroad.

While I was in high-school I used to spend my summer break at home, because I was studying in another city and all year long I was away from home. Now that I'm in college I'm still studying in another city, but this year it's my third year I go to a paleontology summer school, where we dig for Cretaceous dinosaur bones and eggs and for other Cretaceous vertebrate remains.

Hi, Argie! Well I don't rest that much. I hate sitting all day doing nothing that's why I do a part-time job as a waitress in a restaurant or a cafe it depends what I'll find. I work two days then I get two days off and then again and agian. During my days off I go to the nearest pool with my friends in the evening we go out to discos or wherever we find to go. I take a week or two for the seaside also. I hope that I won't miss this year. For this summer I'm planing to go to computer design classes and perhaps I'll take Italian or Spanish, we'll see. And of course some sport - I'm thinking of returning to sport dancing, you know latino, or may be swimming and the last option is just fitness. I've figured out a full programme so I won't feel bored:)

As I work for myself from home, I don't really take many breaks as I like it this way. I do however, like days out now and again and the coast isn't very far away, about an hour's drive and we are there. :-)

We are in winter here in Australia. Our holidays are a lot different. The schools have 4 terms. In summer, over christmas, they have 5 to 6 weeks. Then about April, they have 2 weeks. Then in winter, usually beginning july, another 2 weeks, then another 2 weeks late september. We dont do too much in the holidays. Usually go visit relatives. About every 1 to 1 1/2 years we go to queensland for a big holiday. Best wishes, argie

When summer comes, i usually stayed at home and help my parents do household works or go to my grandparents' farm. It's nice to unwind there especially during summer. I plant corn, vegetables, fruit trees and feed the animals. It is also near the river. I always go there and catch fishes. That is really good!

This is my third summer in college. When i was in school the summer vacations were meant for fun and no studies. Some holiday homeworks were given in school and that was all. Now its totally different in college. The time is to build a career and no time can be wasted. In the summer vacations i have go tor training classes. Everyday, this summer as well as the previous summer i had to go for training which would help me build a strong career, alas, no time for fun anymore.

During summer break, i go with my family to the beach. Summer vacation, is the only chance to get red of all tired and get a relacxation after a long work and related to my kids a long study. This relaxation period give me and my family the power to re-start the work.

Hi friend, I have not enjoyed the summer vocation for the last two years. Because now i am doing professional course and we have no such vocation. But upto pree degree there is summer vocation. At that time computer is not become familiar in our area. So all are very much interested in computer education. So every one used to go for that. I am also going for that... And also do some par time job inorder to make some pocket money.... For that news paper supply is selected by me.... I also do it all time. But during the time of vocation i took more papers. Around 100 papers. And each paper we get 10 rupees that is 0.25 dollars. So for 100 papers we got 25 dollars per month that is around 1000 indian rupees.... And also go for catering service at saturday and sunday. Here weddings and other occasions are usually come on that days... For one day work we got 150 indian rupees that is nearly 4 dollars... This two jobs will finished one on early morning and other on holidays.... So nothing to waste. Paper supply is also a exercise at early morning.... The remaining days i go to computer education.... So in short, vocations are more benefit than other seasons...

I always take this chance to make a trip to some cooler places. That's really relaxing and joyful. And also, I am doing so to restore energy for my next semester :)

We play and enjoy during summer holidays. Daily we go to play badminton. Its more than just a hobby. We even participate in tournaments. So, during holidays we do extra sessions to improve. Other than badminton I get some good pc games and start playing them till the end. It feels good when I finish the whole game. When I was in school I would plan my routine even before the exams got over. Even now I do the same but the examinations go on for so many days that I get bored. Even the holidays are very less to do anything new. During summer holidays I might even take to reading some good novel. There are so many things which can be done during summer holidays....
