Yesterday we sat at a softball tournament all day. We had to drive an hour to get there. We all got sunburned and were so tired. We started by being there at 8am and cheered our hearts out. We were sorry the girls lost one game. The last game starting at 6pm the parents confided in each other we were hoping they would lose this game so we wouldn't have to repeat this another day. As the game went on and the parents for the other team were being nasty to the umpires, our girls and their girls we cheered even louder and got our girls all excited and yeah they won!!! All of us parents jumped up and down for our girls then suddenly reality hit. Oh my gosh we have to come back for another day of this. So that means we go back today and sit again in 95 degree weather, getting more sunburned after driving an hour to get there oh what a joy. I guess it isn't that bad our girls enjoyed themselves and did a great job and we are all very proud of them. I am sure we will survive it one more day and still cheer our girls on no matter what. It is just funny how we change our minds so easily*L* So are we the only parents that have wanted our children to lose a game but then get so caught up in the game we want them to win?

Congratulations on the girls big win. I think it's that way with a lot of things. We dread the getting ready to or the distance that has to be traveled. but when we are on the way it's all worth the effort. In the end is great reward.
