After witnessing many breakups of my classmates and colleagues and friends, who are competitive, ambitious and intelligent, I am lost for a practical solution. Some of my friends after breakup took another path to pick the gentle girls who always say yes to them. A few months later, most of them were complaining that kind of girls was boring and lacking of challenging and running out of conversation. Inevitably they would go their separated ways. I have to confess that my mood and feelings are affected by the surrounding of those happenings. I am not sure if there is any future of the long term relationship and marriage between two headstrong persons. What is your solution?

I feel marriage is a sacred institution. For any long term relationship esp. when it leads to marriage can only be successful if the couple is willing to make compromises mutually, are willing to make sacrifices for sake of their partner that is what true love is about. And one has to be really committed to do that. There has to be give and take. The couple if with inflated big egos clash then relationship is naturally doomed. Cheers:)
