| my activity | banta78 responded to a discussion called Who will win tomorrow India VS Australia 1st T20 match in cricket. 3 weeks ago I agree it's been nightmarish tour for Indian Team. Everything that could go wrong, did go wrong. But that was Test Cricket.
I do feel this Indian Team is a different side when it comes to shorter formats. Our bowling gets far more exposed in Tests and batters feel the pinch.
With more young guns, fresh personnel and more positive approach, India can certainly compete and also win consist... | | banta78 responded to a discussion called Do you believe every person has a talent? in questions & answers. 3 weeks ago I do believe every person is unique gifted talented. It is just that most people don't realize or have faith in their talents or have avenues, get enough opportunities to explore and prove their talents. Talents can be countless from conventional talents like singing, dancing to unconventional ones like computer memory, doing difficult stunts. | | banta78 responded to a discussion called I Am The Greatest Miracle in the World in life. 3 weeks ago Life existence nature creation you and me, there are countless miracles that happened and continue to happen without us even realizing it. There is supreme guiding force (defined by most as God) binding all Universe, planetary motion and creation in order and making life possible.
Life is a miracle and we need to value it. We tend to get bogged down by problems, circumstances and at times giv... | | banta78 responded to a discussion called Writing can heal wounds of the soul in writing. 2 weeks ago Writing is great way to express yourselves and also to discover and connect with your inner self. It can be therapeutic. Helps you gain better perspective of life and self. By pouring your suppressed emotions and confusions on a piece of paper, you feel better. | | banta78 responded to a discussion called Things look different. in friends. 4 days ago Life is full of ironies, paradoxical situations. In this age of consumerism and competition, moral values, cultural traditions and age old family ties have sharply shrunk. People want to have best of wares money can buy not just for their usefulness but to enhance their image in society.

It is still early days in his career, but he has shown lot of promise for future. He has uncanny similarity to great Lara, not just in his stance but also in the way he plays.
I am sure Darren Bravo has learned a lot from this series with India. He has been doing good job for them with the bat. I am sure as he plays more, he would mature faster and ... | | banta78 received a best response in the discussion Do you think Bhajji should have been selected for the Australian tour? by ram_cv. 3 weeks ago I think selectors have done a decent job in picking Indian Test Team to tour Australia next month. Though I like fighting qualities of Bhajji and he has good track record against Aussies, but am afraid going by current form, there really was no place for him in selected Indian team.
Ashwin and Ojha have done a great job against WI and grabbed the spinners slots in the team. Bhajji can alway... | | banta78 received a best response in the discussion Sri Lanka beat South Africa by 208 runs!! by ram_cv. 3 weeks ago Yes, Sri Lankans deservedly won! Lankans outplayed host S Africans in all departments in this Test. I esp. liked the way Sanga batted in 2nd innings and guided other batters, held Lankan innings together, and ensured huge lead for their side, sniffing out any hopes S Africans might have had with early breakthroughs. All Lankan bowlers bowled with fire and used conditions much better and batters... | | banta78 received a best response in the discussion What went wrong with Indian team in 2nd test at SCG by madhuvamsi. 2 weeks ago Let us start with toss, Dhoni made a big blunder by deciding to bat wicket which had on offer for pacers on first two sessions on first day of Test. Sadly for test when conditions and pitch got better only Dhoni was left with tail which could not offer any resistance. This coupled with Aussie pacers bowling fuller, made full use of pitch and conditions also some of the batsmen have clearly not ... | | | | | | | discussions i've started | | In contrast to it's aggressive posturing in recent times, be it trying to control South China Sea or staking strong claims to what it calls disputed territories, China now appear ready to mend fences... | | | | I recently watched live telly broadcast of HT Leadership summit.
