Yes it's Monday and I feel quite lazy and was sleepy in the morning. It seems coming off from weekend more has been quite a challenge for me. Believe it or not I even have a thought to quit the job because I got bored...but nope...I still need the job for the quite good money I earn. I still would like to have long weekend every week (either taking Friday or Monday off work) but I guess I would not happen except if it is public holiday or rostered day off. This morning I had no choice but to get up and work for repetitive job...yeah it's boring for me but at the end of day I thought having a job is much better than doing nothing and staying all day at house. I think this is just everyday work and have to work and so on. Have you have the same thought as I do? Thanks for sharing :)

Maybe the Monday I had just now was the laziest day....sometimes I also have a fresher start on Monday. This does not always happen to me.

Sometimes I do when I feel like everyday is the same day. When we do the same thing everday.. it will be boring. I wish I can do something else. If I change to other company, the job description will be the same.. and I will do the same thing only with different peoples. To quit and try something else, this is a good money. These days, not many job can offer as much as this.. I wish I have more courage to do other thingssssssssssssssssssssss.... Because life is once... Where can I get the courage!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?????????????? Sorry... get too emotional. :)

Yeah I also take some time off...because I will have no life if I don't do that. It's really enjoying when taking time off to ease off my brain and out of work temporarily.

I usually never get bored at my job but the odd time it happens. I am a custodian at our local highschool and in the cleaning business you can always find something to do. When we finish our regular duties that have to be done every night and have time left that is when we do the extra light machine buffing the floors and using the scubbing machine and i love working the machines so i never get bored that way.

I tend to get bored at jobs where the work flow isn't steady. I don't mind the task, even if it's repetitive and not mentally challenging. But, I don't like waiting for work to come to me, as in a customer service setting. Yes, I do things between people visiting the desk, but I have to be on alert so I don't look like I'm ignoring a customer. The problem is that in these kinds of cases, I tend to get really talkative.

My job is primarily customer service...yes it does involve a lot of talking but I have been carefully choosing words before can be spoken out to customer. Wrong interpretation can lead them to confusion and they may asking question that requires me to explain it in full. Well the job is not easy anyway but I learn something from it.

I love my job and usually I do not mind going there. However lately I have been feeling very tired and sick of things and I just dont wanna work. I am planning to take some time off so that I can get back to my normal self again!

No, actually, I had a terrible day today, and I was stuck there for 45 minutes past my quitting time trying to finish work that didn't get done because the hand computers were down most of the day. Then I checked my schedule for the next two weeks, and the week after next they only scheduled me for one lousy day. I can't live on one day's pay, and I am considering looking for another job if they don't give me hours.

That's bad. You should be getting penalty rates (that's what it's called here for overtime work). I'll be paid penalty rate if I work past 7pm. If your company does not give you this then you should be getting the work elsewhere.

There are times that I get bored with my work especially if my tasks are still the same. That's why whenever I feel that my wok is starting to become monotonous, I try to think of new things that I can do aside from my usual tasks so I won't feel bored anymore.

Try to put radio on if it's allowed at work. In my workplace I can put radio on but I don't do it because it will distract me.

Oh my, yes. I get extremely bored at work! No matter how hard I'm working, most days seem twice as long as they really are.All I can think about is how bad I want to go home, because I have much more important stuff to do there. But, I need the money, so I can't quit.

No, money doesn't fall from the sky, but if it did, with my luck, it probably wouldn't be close to me.

If I do get bored at work? Oh, come on! You should ask who doesn't get bored at work! Working is one of the most boring things you can do. And if you think getting bored is bad, you're wrong. When your job doesn't get you bored, it gets you tired by overworking. When not, gets you angry by discussing with other people about things you know are wrong. It may also get you desperate when you think you might be fired. As the philosopher has said: There is no such thing as a bad work. Bad, is having to work at all.

I don't consider getting bored as something bad. It's just that the repetitive job making me tired and it's like that I would consider to take some time off.

I feel if one enjoys one's work then one doesn't get bored easily. You should have talk with your boss so as to give you some different tasks at job which will inspire you challenge you to do something different and completion of will give you creative satisfaction of job well done. Also being witty and having fun with colleagues at work peps up the spiritsd. Also on weekends do take time for yoga, meditation and take proper sleep so that you are totally chilled on mondays. Cheers:)
