Ok, this stinks!

Faith please don't feel like a failure b/c of your child's behavior. Cling to God's promise, raise them up in the way they should and one day they will come back to HIM, something like that. You planted the seeds and God will grow them. He is going through some tough times right now and unfortuntately you as his mom are going thru it with him. Just know you are not alone. No words I have will help you, but please don't blame yourself. I have a neice my mom raised, in church, she is the black sheep so to speak, but I cling to that promise and I tell her too that I always pray that one day she will fall in love with Jesus. I know that day is coming. Here for you if you need a friend.

Good luck today, maybe you should suggest boot camp. I don't know if they would do that, but it would not hurt to ask. You may want to tell them that the "tough love" from Mom is not working and you need help or they may just put him on probation and let him go. Get it stopped now, before he turns 18 and ends up in prison. We had trouble with my daughter, and we had an awful time. She ended up living with my parents, because she could not sneak out of their house, which is what she was doing here, and was getting in big trouble over and over.

That is a bad sign for you to get on such a tough day. I pray for you and your family, especially your son, as you work through this tough and trying time. I hope all goes well for him and that he truly learns from this experience. Faith, That is so weird. Mine was 666 yesterday. This will be the first time since I have joined gather that I have not made payout for the month. In fact, I have never made below 20. before so this is a new one for me. I have been sick this month and not online much. I dont think I can make payout this late in the month.

I am sorry for your son. I don't think they will send him to juvenile lock up. But he'lll surely have guidance to live better

Oh, I know it is hard, I went throught the very same thing with my youngest, my son! I believe ours was breaking and entering also, they broke into a friend's house to party and the parents came home and found the place a mess. He had been acting up prior to this, but never to this degree where law enforcement was involved. We went to court, he got off. Sent him home with me, but it only caused more problems and before I knew it we were back in court for the same thing. This time they did send him to boot camp, he came out and was good for a couple of months and then he was acting up again, getting into trouble. I have two types of children, one who gets into trouble and always gets caught, my son, and then one who never gets into trouble and never gets caught, my wonderful daughter. They are 26 and 27 years old. My son's getting into trouble have just about stopped, definitely slowed down and my daughter has matured and unsure of anything she is doing, but working and taking care of her baby. So, it does get better, just a few rough patches along the way, to build that love for them to be stronger and stronger in life. We love them so much, if only we could stop them from hurting like this, but we can't live their lives, we can only be there for them when they fall, and hopefully when we pick them up we show them the right way to go!! Btw .. my earnings just did the same thing also, all the same numbers across, isn't that funny?

Some kids have to learn on their on and hopefully this will be a "wake up" call to your son. I also hope you get your funds updated. I wouldn't want mine stuck on that number either! My earnings had gone up a penny too, and by looking at the other responses, I guess it happened to a lot of people. As for your son, don't feel that you are a failure. These types of things happen to many of us too. It doesn't matter what you do, even kids from the best homes will often find their way into trouble. my dear dear friend, I am so sorry to hear bad news about your son..of course he is still your son..a mother loves their children forever no matter how old they are and what they do in their lives..let's hope he has not to undergo any juvinel prison..and let's pray he will learn his lesson and avoid getting into troubles in the future. I am sure he needs your love now more than ever but for some reasons love cannot protect us from everything. That is a horrible number to be stuck with, I hope they update it for you soon. And I will pray for your son and his situation, I have been there, done that with my oldest daughter. She did grow out of it after some pretty hard knocks, hopefully it will be the same way with your son.

A few people are having similar problems with earnings Faith. I'm sure it will work itself out. I'm a few days behind and struggling to catch up so I hope you've posted the results of the hearing a bit further along. I can sympathise with you as both my children went off the rails and left my care at an early age. I know how it feels. Hugs to you dear one.

oh, that number is the number of the beast, I had to do a check yesterday that had that number too, I don't like it either. I hope everything goes well with your son in court. I will be praying for him that they send him to boot camp instead.

I know mine went up a wopping $0.02. I know that I posted more but I guess the update is slow. I feel for you as far as the update. I will pray for you and your son. I hear the boot camps are good for juvenilles. I know where I live, they have the Grizzly Academy for at risk youths and they have been having great success with it. I guess you should put they should put him in a boot camp that he will feel pride with every accomplishment. Juvenille Hall will teach him how to do and not get caught. Is there anyway you can talk to his attorney and see if they can do boot camp for him? Maybe his attorney can get up to talk to the judge yourself. If the judge is fair he will listen and take what you say into consideration. I will pray that your son will get the right treatment, hopefully a youth boot camp.
