I work on a laptop because I can bring it in the kitchen and work on the table or just sit on the couch and use it. I was going to get a desktop but couldn't decide where to put a computer desk in my house.

Well it's depends on the situation for example if i always have to go outside from one place to another place, then i prefer Laptop but if i just stay in the same place that doesn't have to go out very often then i'll just choose PC desktop.

I have used both and if I like to move around, I would use a laptop. I really have no major preference between the 2 as I actually think both are just as good. It just mainly depends on how good they both run when needed. I would consider a laptop if need be considering the fact that if I have to travel somewhere, I'd have to make sure I have my work with me. Basically you can tell I have no preference as I think both can be just as good. I like both.

I always prefer PC for using internet and doing most of the works but sometimes laptop becomes necessity when you have no reach to any PC and home so its better to keep Laptop but ......you cannot make it your primary system which can be modified and can help you work without interruption for recharging etc ..............

as I have mention I am presently working on my PC and looking for a laptop as my pc I am using is now outdated and I suffer a lot with its speed and performance, now I decided for a laptop the drawbacks you mention like recharging and internet access while moving is quite difficult but still I think laptop will do better for me

I prefer PCs much more. Laptops are so annoying. I hate trying to use the mouse and the keyboard never allows me to type correctly.

A laptop and a PC could be one and the same. A Macintosh and a PC are two different types of computers, both of which come in desktop or laptop form. I prefer to use a Macintosh and currently have a desktop. However soon I would like to get a laptop to use when I am out.

well i use to perfer a laptop cuz I had never owned one and the though of sitting on the couch in front of the tv on a laptop sounded like a dream to me. lol but then i got a laptop and a bout a year went by and now I like sitting at a desktop. We only have one laptop and one desktop and my husband is usually on the desktop when hes home so I dont get to get on it very much.

Well for me working on a lap top would be ideal. I have to move around a lot during the day and if I had a lap top I would be able to get a lot more done. I don't have a lap top but because I work and do my schooling from home, it is something I am going to be investing in very soon.

I am using a laptop for now and I can tell you that laptops are really great.I can bring it anyway I want to but my only problem is that, you should not forget to charge your laptop if you are bringing it outside. But, other than that, its really efficient. Nowadays, laptops can give the same performance as Desktop PC so, I suggest that laptop is a great idea. I was using a Desktop PC few years back and after awhile, when I bought a laptop, I got addicted to it and started to buy laptops from then. Since you already had a Desktop PC, you should try to but a laptop and see how great it is. The cost itself is no different nowadays as the price comparing yo a Desktop PC and a laptop is almost the same but varies in the specification. Good luck on getting a laptop in the future.

I prefer Laptop than the Desktop because of the Portability and easy to use. Laptops are no way different from the Desktop Computers, except that they are of smaller size and are of much costlier than the Desktop Computers. So you can do anything and everything, you have been doing so far with the Desktops. The current days Laptops are very powerful enough even to play the High end games just like the Desktop. The only issue faced by many of the laptop users is the low battery life. But with the modern technologies, this also has been improved a lot now. So go ahead and replace your Desktop with Laptop.

Dear friend, I always prefer a laptop now. As it so flexible its usage, as easy to transport, carry, less weight so on. May its easy to carry feature is best and its weight. Above its features too matter.

A laptop is more convenient than a PC. Laptop can bring anywhere, you can even bring it to cafeteria and restaurants if you have something urgent to do, plus the sleek gadget cannot occupy a wide space. While PC is very taxing, you cannot just carry it to other places and if you want to switch position, you have to consume time and so much effort plus energy compared to laptop which you can just lift anywhere.
