Are you someone who races around and always in a hurry? or Pace your self and take your time? I am a racer I cant get enough done, be it on here on mylott or around the house. I like everything done yesterday. Racer or Pacer? Do you like the one you are?

Hmm...well, I am a racer and my husband is a pacer. We have many conflicts about this..lol I am always saying when we work together "let's just DO it!" but, nooo..he has to "think" about it first! ???!? WHY? You can think and work at the same time, I know! I have done it before! He is always telling me to slow down. HAH! as if that is an option! We went for a walk together ONCE. I won't walk with him anymore, I told him that it hurts for me to walk that slow..lol Well, at least all of my work gets done :)

SEE! Me too! Whatever we are doing, I have already figured it out in my mind and it is maddening to have to wait until he "thinks" about how to do it. He has to look and look and look..SHEESH! It makes me want to SCREAM..lol No, not a librarian, he is an electrician. You should see how long THAT takes him.

I would say that i am into both category where i'm always in a hurry when there is so much to do and very less time. And when i have lot of time with me, then I do things in my own sweet time.

You also seem to have a really good balance, there never seems to be enough hours in the day for me.

I think i am a bit of both. Depends on how i am feeling. Sometimes i dont stop, i want everything done in a time that really is impossible, and then at other times, i just potter along. Dont really care if i get things done or not. So i am a bit inbetween, i guess Best wishes to you, tredale

My mind is a racer, unfortunately, I do not race enough with my body. On the other hand, hubby is a pacer. He is very thorough and methodical. I do get up and get going in the morning, he would lounge around drinking coffee until noon if he could get away with it. When he is doing his slow deliberate stuff, it is usually at just the time my rocket boosters have kicked in, and since he loves to be with me, he is usually in my way, going much slower than I am. Look at for the traffic jam. I am also lucky in that he is easy going and does not take offense at my hustle and bustle. We are managing to make a pretty good life together. I think my racer days need to kick back in, for my physical well being.

I am glad your mind is racing GardenGerty it is great to keep the mind active and I hope your body will follow. My husbands a pacer with mathodical actions as well. We also make for a good team but I can get a little frustrated with the traffic jam.lol

I am a pacer 95% of the time the other 5% is when someone thows me something completely unexpected and yes I like what I am. I would be a nervous wreck if I ran around like crazy all the time.

I’m both- I’m more of a Type A personality- so I’m usually in a hurry- and racing around- But when I’m on mylot- I’m a pacer- I put off all the other things that I should be doing- so I race around mylot- but I pace around the house- cleaning, playing outside, watching movies- lol But most of the time in my everyday life- I’m a racer- I get things done when I need to- It bothers me once in a while- because I work with a lot of pacers- and to see them slacking with my Type A personality- it drives me insane!

Yes that is me too, I also dont sleep well unless everything is done. I have been known to get up in the middle of the night and do something.

I do and I don't. I'd rather be a pacer and walk at my normal speed, which is steady and slightly slow but with a kick to it. I hate being in a rush or seeing others going around and just being way to busy or just acting like it. Something I'm really not about :) ~Joey ((hehe yeah, I'm talking about walking)):P

I'm more of a pacer I guess. It's like whenever I'm in a hurry I don't get it right, so now I learn to pace my self. Some things have deadlines so those I have no choice, but the rest I'll try to take my time and pay more attention to details

I am a pacer until at times people cannot take it. When life it itself already a rat race, why join the race and stress one and all? I take life easy. LOL.

I am of both, I race whenever I'm in a hurry and pace if ever I don't need to. Like now, I am on a RACING MOOD!;) Because I have lots of things to take care of, as time is definitely not on my side. I need to finish all of that is required for me to complete, to get the job that I've been longing for!;)

I hope you get the job you are after raijin, I think that its important to race when its asked of you, for me I will race even if no one asks. I cant do nothing. Pacing is a bit of a issue for me and it only seems to be getting worse. Goodluck. Think positive.:-}

It sounds like you have the best of both worlds maehan, race when you need to and pace when you can.
