In our company, I am the one who keep the daily sales, the money. I will be the one who count the cash in and the cash out and take it to the bank. I am really afraid having that responsibility... its the money, the company trust me, and you know I am responsible for any loses... that will happen sometimes. On the other side, it is learning, I have learned a lot things. What about you? What do you feel if you are in my place? I think I need to tell my manager about this, I'll quit.

For me, I don't want that kind of responsibility it's too risky. Everybody is looking upon you. I'm haapy for you cause we're able to handle such responsibility.

It's been a month now... yeah, it is really risky... you are responsible for losing even a single penny. As I said, I have learned something.

I had been treasurer of an association for quite a number of years. I was responsible for the deposit and withdrawer of cash in the bank. I suggest you to take some precautions bcoz there are always some bad eggs lurking around the bank. Don’t go to the bank at a fixed schedule, get some tough guy to accompany you to the bank, try not to hold money in hand, split the money and keep in different part of body. Good luck!

Thanks for the advice. I have not thought about splitting the money keeping it in different part of the body. Thanks a lot. ~mar

That's a very big responsibility. But you must be proud that your company trust you so much, it means that they can count on you anytime. It's too risky to have a duty like that. One thing I like about your job is that it is so challenging.

The problem is, I need to wake up early in the morning, I need to count the money early. So, 4pm to 12midnight is my worktime plus time spent of counting the money. Yeah, it is challenging. ~mar

Its too scarey to handle money these days, its too dangerous. I hate it. I used to work in a car yard and I used to have to count money that people had brought a brand new car and they paid cash. Merecedes Benz too. I was locked in an office until it was counted 10 times and then counted with a witness 10 ten times.

Yeah, counting it over and over again, just to make sure that all are counted. I only do it 3 times, well, it depends on how much money you have. The more money you have you more times you count it. Thanks for your response.

I will feel afraid to deal with lots of cash as my job. Nowadays the crimes are becoming serious. The criminals not only want money, but also will hurt you. If the cash will have fake money, it's your business and you have to take responsibility for it. It's more dangerous. You can tell your manager about your problems. And if you have to deal with cash, such as taking it to the bank. It's better that you go there with another colleague. If something wrong, then at least you will have someone to help and give you proof.

Did you notice the one of the discussions I've started that talks about robbery?
