Do u believe in rebirth?

I always think what happens to our souls when we die, our bodies vanish,but what about our souls? Are they immortal? Do we take rebirth, do our soul get a new body? Have you ever thought about this? Yesterday i was thinking about this unbelievably for 2 long hours, and i still havn't reached a conclusion, so i decided to get opinions of all people over here... Great people say that yes we do take rebirth, and there have been some incidences where some people remember the places and some faces which they have never seen in their present life! Now why this happens? Scientists were unable to find some concrete answers to these things....
