What's your at home strategy? Do you prefer to get fully dressed each day, or are you a wake up and go in what you're wearing type?

I get up and shower every day, some days I exercise, and get dressed for the house, which is not always the same as dressed for going out. I'm in shorts and a t-shirt today, I could go out like this, but I'm look sloppy. If I needed to go to the store, I would probalby change and put on some make-up (no need to scare anyone).

I'm the same way with makeup! If I'm at home, it doesn't go on, but I won't leave the house with out at least some mascara and a touch of lip gloss.

I would PREFER to stay in pajamas but I've found that I'm much more productive if I get dressed. It just gives the impression of going to work. It also makes it easier when something unexpected comes up. It's hard enough to gets kids around in a hurry without forgetting anyyhing at least I know I'm all ready.

I hear you on being more productive when dressed. It's just so easy some times to stay in my pj's all day, though! lol!

I am a pajama momma. Why waste dirtying clothes if your not going anywhere. Thats my philosophy! Also, depending on what I am wearing for pajama's depends if I change or not to go out somewhere.

It is amazing how much laundry those little bodies can create, isn't it?

I am a stay-at-home mother. I worked earlier. I go out fully dressed. Because I live in a country with different nationalities. So, don't feel comfortable going out in home dress.

I don't get dressed if I don't have too. It's almost always just the 8 of us hanging aorund the house. We don't get a lot of visitor I think because things are always so crazy with the kids. We try not to make unnessisary trips to town because of the price of gas.

I hear you about the price of gas. I've been trying to limit my trips into town so that I don't have to drive that often. It's so nice to have so many at home days.

Oh i have to get dressed when i get up. I have to get a shower first and then put on regular clothes. Sometimes on the weekend like Sunday if I know I'm not going anywhere then i will just lounge around in sweats and a tee.

I always get fully dressed. I get up earlier than my kids and go for a run, take care of the horses and then come in for a shower and get dressed nice. It is too easy when your kids are young to just get caught up with everything and not take care of you though.

I am the type who like to wear my pjs all the time. There so much more comfortable. Plus I dont need to get dressed to stay home and watch kids. Im a sahm of two and I watch two. Its much easier to wear pjs. Yes of course when I leave the house I get dressed but only if I have to.

Well, since my jammies are a tank top and sweats, I generally stay in those for most of the day. If we decide to go out, I throw on jeans and a new tank top! No one ever visits us, so what we wear around the house doesn´t matter and since I am still in that weird stage between maternity and regular clothes, it is not worth it to buy some actual nice stuff!

It depends on what is going on. I would like to stay in my jammies all day if I could, but that usually isn't the way things work out. I usually have somewhere to have to go and so I have to get dressed. It is easy with little ones to get wrapped up into not getting dressed and not doing hair, makeup, etc and then the next thing you know you have just become the "bum looking mom". My kids hate it when I stay in jammies during the day. They think mom should get dressed all the time and look like a grownup instead of a teen on a lazy Saturday.

I always go out in my PJ's. My sister think its the most stupidest and laziest thing, but if I'm comfortable why should it matter right??

Well, it all depends on the events of that day. Some times we are not able to plan ahead and that's when you don't have a choice but to wake up and go. When there's no surprising events going on that morning, you can just take your time to get fully dressed!

I am definetly pajamma mamma if im not going out for the day i dont bother to get dressed we live in the country so if I want to go out in my jammies on the back deck there is no one to see. usually I know in advance if someone is coming over so I jusy stay comfy and cool.
