Does it pay you more to respond to hot topics or is that there just so you know that they are good discussions? Assuming you get paid more if your post is the hot topic.

I dont think you would get paid any more. I think they have that just so you can see what everybody else is doing. The only way to get paid more (to the best of my knowledge) is to get a high rating. I wish they would tell more about their rating system????? yay? double exclamation points???

I wish they would say more too and stop making us guess. Oh well. I enjoy coming and posting anyway. Doesn't really matter, it would just be nice to know.

Hmmm. I have been trying to figure it out. I am happy that I am getting anything just trying to figure out what pays more.

Initially I thought it paid more, too. So, I tried it for a couple days, and it didn't really pan out. Currently, I'm just responding to friends discussions and keeping my own topics alive. That gets me a nice amount of money on My Lot daily. I do very well, income wise, posting 30 to 40 quality topics daily. Maybe it could work for you?

I have no idea how they calculate things. It's definitly a scientific thing. Maybe it even changes daily. LOL! I like to respond to the discussions with no responses, I just think it's fun to be the first to answer. I'm not sure if that gets anymore either-- but I like doing it. I wish I could get to 500 posts here so that I could copy! I hate having to type URLs in when i want to share a site.
