wow... i never thought that scammers could be as desperate as that... i also receive scam emails but through me going around the web makes me learn that those kind of emails are scams. it almost sounds believable because they have a name and a contact number and all but in all actuality, most of these are just modus operandi of some syndicate. i heard of stories that says that these people uses anonymouse persons like us as a middle man in handling of money. some receive a bit as.. suhol, something while others even end up paying themselves.

ang turo sa akin, dont give them anything. you'll know that it's a scammer when the person is persistent on asking on money, and the offers are too good to be true. then dont give them any personal information because who knows, they might use it for fraudulent purposes. i have heard lots of news from americans that had unwittingly given their social security number and ended up getting hacked.

I know. The time I was being scammed, it was greed that made me loose so much money on that f***! Anyway, thanks for your response! Don't imitate my foolishness and I think you won't. Be smart about your hard earned money.

I received lots of those letter from them but I either play along with them till they get exhausted making excuses for me to pay them LOL. But most of their emails I usually ignore especially those obvious ones. But for those that write good and convincing I play along with them until they start asking for payment that is when they just get tired from convincing me to pay them haha they are just wasting their time on me. I won't give them a single cent.

Thanks for posting rsa101! It's good you are doing those to them so that they'll really get pissed and k*ll themselves! Hahaha! They had me as their victim once and I really hate them especially myself for being such a fool. After the incident, I learned a lot from it money wise.

I think Nigerian Scams are not that prevalent here in the Philippines -- I mean not a lot of our fellow Filipinos were victimized by that scam due to the fact that it required dollars in the first place to transfer money to Nigeria. This Nigerian scams are now having a second wind -- I am sure you have already received an email supposedly making a winner of a million dollars or euros and you have to supply them with personal informations to transfer the money. A person even called me by my cellphone inviting me to Spain. I just smile.

Thanks for your response! I feel bad about myself because I was scammed this month. This is because of my greed of having to buy high-end cellphones for less. Anyway, your experience is quite good compared to mine and if that happens to me, I won't believe them also. Their excuses are so lame. Thanks for sharing your experiences!
