Do you paint your face or go au-naturale?

Some people wear so much make-up that you probably wouldn't recognize them without any at all. Others wear just enough to spruce up their appearance without going overboard. Still others choose to not wear any at all. Even some men have a collection of select cosmetic products. Personally, I've never been one to use a lot of make-up. I'm pretty much clueless as to how to apply it, save for some cover-up and some lip gloss. My boyfriend won't even kiss me if I'm wearing anything on my lips (to the point of paranoia about it). I prefer to be found attractive exactly as I was created without any artificial enhancements. How much make-up, if any, do you wear on a daily basis?

Only on occasion I wear makeup and not very well at that. I stiil use the same techniques of applying makeup as I did year ago. I'd like to learn the new ways to apply my makeup for those few occasions that I do wear makeup. My daughter likes it when I wear some out of the chance that I may let her wear lipgloss or something.

I don't know how to apply it either. A few other people have mentioned their daughters wanting to use their makeup too.

I would like to learn how to put on make up again for those special occasion, but it will only be eco friendly makeup now. That's my plan. I'm slowly switching over to the earth friendly kind.

I'm not so fond of using make up. I like the natural beauty. I only get to wear make up during parties and its only light. Even when i was working in the office i just put on a lip balm and powder and i'm fine.

Good for you copperkitten! I know what you're saying about not having time for makeup. I work part-time in the evenings and the rest of the time I am a mom. But, I do take some time out for myself and I hope you do as well.

Most of the time I don't wear make up. Sometimes I'll wear lip gloss, but I don't think that counts. When I start to feel in a "blah" mood, I'll put on some make up, but just enough to enhance my natural beauty. I do this to make me feel good about my self by showing myself how pretty I look.

If your going to wear makeup that's the reason you should do it...to make yourself feel better not to make others look at you. Thanks tiff!

I don't put make up on my face as there is always an artificial feeling..I don't even put powder... What i put is kaajal in my eyes and a lipgloss sometimes if i am in a mood to put...Otherwise i like to be natural and my face tends to glow when i am natural...

Hahaha. I can't imagine spending $100 on makeup alone. Guess you won't do that again lol.

That is always a way to go. I prefer to have light make-up on and just keep it natural. I don't like too much of it at all.

I prefer to go au naturale, and the way the weather is down here, I'm tempted to speak of more than just my face! LOL It's unbelieveable here in Arizona, but I love the weather. I think it's a great place to be, and I absolutely love it down here. I'm glad we have a pool.

That's how I feel too. If you don't like what you see then don't look. And ya know what, my boyfriend thinks I'm beautiful without anything covering my face and that means more to me than anything anyone could say about me in a made up face.

Im not much for make-up. When I go out somewhere I will put alittle blush and eye concealer and some mascara and lip stick but thats about it. I rather have that clean fresh look.

A little makeup is a lot better than a ton of it in my opinion. Thanks for sharing.

I don't wear a lot of makeup, which is pretty dissappointing to my 11 year old who always wants to raid the make up bag at sleepovers! I usually just wear foundation to even out my skin tone, some mascara and light lip gloss. My hubby doesn't like to kiss me when I have stuff on my lips either, and I'd much rather kiss him than have glossy lips! LOL

Lol, I agree. I'd much rather forgo the lipsticks and glosses for kisses from my sweety. As for your 11 year old daughter, well, I think you are teaching her that it's okay to want to wear makeup sometimes, but that she is naturally beautiful just as she is. Good job, mom!

I'm all natural (I'm a guy by the way). Although I do wash my face each morning, does that count in any ways?

Washing your face in the morning isn't exactly what I was referring to, but it was still nice to hear from a guy :0)

i wear a litle makeup - as i like to cover up my pores, i only put on a bit of foundation, if im going out for the night then i will do some more like eye makeup and lip gloss. Like your boyfriend mine dont like lip gloss, or lippie or too much eye shadow as he says it looks like i got a black eye lol.

I never wear an over abundance of make-up at any time--just a little lipstick, eye-shadow, (even more rarely) mascara, and a dot of lipstick applied to each cheek and blended in when I do want to look extra-nice. Most times, I don't add a thing

I prefer to wear little or no make-up. When I do choose to put any on, it's just to play up my features a bit. Bronzer, eyeliner, mascara, and lipstick are all that I use, and only on "special" occasions. On a daily basis, I prefer to wear nothing but Chapstick. *LoL*

I rarely ever wear makeup. When I do, though, I don't wear much. If I wear makeup at all, it is usually just lip gloss or lipstick. I have a lot of lip glosses, but I hardly ever use them.

au-naturale definitely shows real beauty. a little concealer and some powder is enough for me. my boyfriend too doesn't like the taste of lipsticks. i sometimes put on nivea lip care strawberry flavor to be exact. it puts a nice scent to it so it's sometimes enticing for him. hehe. i often ask somebody to put make-up on me on special occassions especially on formal dinner thingies and weddings.

i usually don't wear make-up because I'm too lazy to go through a long process each morning. I can be up and ready in about 20 mins, including brushing my teeth and washing my face. however, when ti comes to special ocassions then I will put on some make-up to make my complexion look better and brighten up my features like my cheekbones and my lips. when everyeone else is dolled up, will feel like I'm not giving the ocassion enough importance if I don't dress up a bit. on a daily basis, I wear concealer and outine my eyebrows with a pencil. today I have on some light blusher. i don't use lipstick or lipgloss very much because it goes off the minute i eat or drink anyway.

some days i paint my face on. but i dont look like dramatically different. i just feel like wearing alot of makeup some days. its something i enjoy doing. other days im lazy! and i wear no makeup at all. or just some mascara and some chapstick.
