lol! Yep! It was the younger brother! I attributed it to the fact that there were 7 years between our ages and he was always trying to get attention. I remember feeling when he was born that I did not like this baby in my house. Hey, I'd been getting all of the attention for 7 years, I didn't want anything around that would mess that up! I don't think we ever bonded and it is sad because he passed away before I could make any amends. My aunt told me one time that he actually idolized me. I never knew that and find myself apologizing to him all the time.

I think my younger brother loved the attention too and seem to gloat when he succeeded in stirring up the hornet's nest of trouble..He later told me that he loved doing it.. I guess to him..it gave him power he wouldn't have ..since he was the youngest..and his place was not at the front;_+

My brother and sister are 4 and 5 years younger than me, respectively. They were always really good friends when we were growing up, so they would gang up to get me in trouble. I got told on for any and everything. Not only that, but the little boogers would make stuff up, and collaborate to make sure I got grounded!! It made me very sad, and very upset that they would do this to me. They still do it to a small degree. Of course, I'm almost 30, so I don't get in trouble. I just get fed up listening to my mom tell me what I should and shouldn't do.

I know how you feel...I wonder if this is the norm for families that have siblings..that is the younger rejoice in seeing how much trouble they can cause. I love my younger siblings and my younger brother the tattler ..but back then..I think I had a love/hate feeling...:)+|

Fortunately no. Mys sister was always my partner in crime though she is 7 years younger than I am. Among the two of us I would be the tattler especially if I felt she was hiding something that they ought to know. Otherwise, we were always there for each other. I'm sure she must have hated me then...but I'm sure she understands that it was for her good. Neither one of us have tattled so that the other would be punished or made to look small.

I'm the youngest in my family, so I would be the tattler. But actually, my sister and I were always very close (she was like a mother & best friend to me throughout life), so I'd only threaten to tattle on her as a form of blackmail. Most of the time, I wouldn't follow through with it, though. My parents aren't really the type to care about most things I could potentially tattle about anyway.
