What is the cost of designing and launching a new website?

I am from India. I wanted to know the total cost of designing a new website, resigtration, buying space and finally launching it. If anyone has the information for this, please let me know. I want to know the cost in India. Thanks!

you can register at godaddy.com where my site was also registered for about 50-60 dollars or 2500+ indian rupee that is already with basic 5 gig space free 500 email about 2 gigspace and automatic web softwares needed for your blog site.

2500 Rs is very good. Does that include everything from designing to the registration of the website?

Designing a website depends on who wants to teach you. Some sites request $40. Some less and some more than that. I know of someone who wanted to design a site, but he was asked to pay 15 pounds. Thanks

Well, I happen to help people on something like that. I'm not sure on the conversion on the currency but I know with godaddy.com, with a .com, it is $8.95 a year. I'm not sure on how much that translates to in India exactly. It really depends on who you go with as far as a web host. Does this help any?
