What one food item could you never give up?

What's the one food item you'd be devastated if you could never eat again? If you became allergic or it stopped existing or something like that. Mine is Cheese. I love cheese and I can pretty much eat me some cheese on just about anything and everything. If there was no more cheese in this world, I'd be so sad. The meal I'd be hard up to give up...Pizza. I could eat pizza every single day and be quite content. Pizza Pizza Pizza! What about you?

It would be really hard for me to give up sweet stuff, especially candy. I am a candy addict. My mother did not like to give us sweet things when we were little and I guess I am making up for that now. I also love cheese. Cheese is a lot of fun to eat. I guess that is why I like Mexican food so much. I like pizza also.

I'm not much of a candy stuff. I'm weird , like I don't like sweets and I don't like chocolate. I do love me some gummy bears though. It's such a shame when parents keep their kids from stuff!

Actually, I believe she did a good thing. I did not have my first cavity until my early thirties. A lot of kids have cavities before they get their permanant teeth.

I am also a cheesaholic. I eat cheese on just about everything, so I guess that would have to be the one food I couldn't give up. I love pizza too, especially with extra cheese.

Pizza and Cheese seem to be popular. I'm glad the world will never run out of cheese cause so many people would boycott!

Potato chip cake maybe? Oh and cake for breakfast? That's interesting. Cake gives you many varieties too and that's also a good choice. NICE.

Almost every day I eat potatoes. I cook, bake and fry potatoes in every way there is. I have so many potatoe recipes. I would be very sad if I could not eat potatoes. In early spring potatoes get expensive and I cut down on my consumption. Already cutting down my consumption of potatoes because of the price is uncomfortable for me. I think potatoes keep me healthy.

I think potatoes are good for people, unless they do that carb thing, but do potatoes have carbs? I don't even know, I don't diet. Potatoes are good. I used to eat them a lot! I probably should more because that's something that's not too hard to cook for one person. I do baked potatoes and fries most often.

Potatos have a lot of carbs, but for some people that isn't a problem. I'm not one of those people though, LOL.

I'm so with you on cheese! I couldn't give up cheese. I put extra cheese on mac-n-cheese. I love pizza and I love cheesy Italian foods. String cheese, shredded cheese...you name it and I'll eat it.:)

I don't eat Swiss or any blue cheeses. I've never tried goat cheese either...don't think I want too. I am the same way about extra cheese on my food. I put extra cheese on already super cheesey things. Yummy!

mmm.. I always get the polly-o twists from the grocery stores.... it's like mozzerella and chedder cheese. It's great! I live off that stuff. I seriously put cheese on everything and extra cheese on stuff that already has cheese. though you know of course there are some cheeses i could do without like the smelly cheeses and swiss cheese. blech.

Chicken, that's a different one too! Chicken is also something I live off of because I don't eat red meat or pork, so I pretty much live off of chicken and turkey! Mmmmm.. Now cheesecake everyday, that'd be unhealthy but oh so yummy :)

I'd have to say Chinese Food of any kind. As long as they still had at least ONE THING on their menu, I'd be happy. There's just something about Chinese Food that I love. If someone came out tomorrow and said there would be no more Chinese Food, I would cry. I might not ever eat again! LOL. I've never had Chinese Food from China or from someone who was from China that was not making the food in a restaurant, and I have heard that "Real" Chinese Food is different from the version served in America, but I love the American version anyway. If anyone took that away from me, I would not be happy at all. Life would not be the same without Sesame Chicken, Chicken Fried Rice, Pork Fried Rice, Chicken Chow Mein, Chicken Lo Mein, etc. Especially the Chinese food with seafood involved... I LOVE seafood. If they told me SHRIMP FRIED RICE had been outlawed, I would seriously want to move to another planet. Chinese Food is my biggest weakness.

It would be really strange if I didn't like the food in China! Can you imagine ordering American food in China. I wonder if they have take-out or delivery of American food there, like we have Chinese Food here. Hmmm.

Mine would be Mayonnaise. I have mayonnaise with everything. I especially love it in spaghetti bolognese. Cheese would be a close second, followed by gravy. Yum..I drink gravy right outta the mug.

Huh, mayo? Interesting indeed. Oh, dang this food topic! I'm getting hungry. But I must give KUDOS to mayo. I love Long John Silvers, and then dipping my chicken planks in mayo and then in my pile of "extra crispies".....*gobble gobble* Oh yessss, mayo can certainly save the day!

Now that's different. I think I know more people who hate mayo then like it! I'm not a big gravy fan, but we could definitely fight over the cheese. I just love cheese. I don't think I go a day without eating something with cheese on it!

Oh. Eggs. I don't think that's a choice that anyone else has said. Well the point wasn't really foods being healthy or not though, so it's ok if the food you don't want to give up is unhealthy. I actually eat eggs every day. It's more filling of a breakfast than cereal. I eat pizza once a week too at least. luckily i'm not dying yet :)

Oh no! Just the thought of never having ice cream again brings tears to my eyes! LOL (ok a little dramatic) but I do LOVE ice cream! If I could have one thing every single day and be quite content, my choice would be pizza too if I thought my innards would be happy too. So, with that said, I would have to switch and say I'd be content with tacos. :p Yummy topic! I "heart" cheese too.

I have to admit that mine is cheese too, either that or chocolate. Believe me i have tried to give up the latter. But cheese is a pretty good thing to eat and i wouldn't like to go without pizza either! I love the pizza's from pizza hut, they taste amazing. I don't want to think about the cals but they are nice for a treat.

Pizza Hut is my favorite Pizza too. Cheese really isn't the best thing in the world for you but it isn't the worst. Some diets tell you to eat string cheese for snacks. I love string cheese! I'm lucky, I don't really do chocolate.

For me, it will have to be crabs - chilli or black pepper crabs. They are oh, so delicious, especially the ones that are sold in the seafood restaurants in my country. People from all over the world come to savour this dish, so you can imagine how good an experience it is for me everytime I get to eat it. In fact, I will be heading for the seafood restaurant in about 5 hours from now to devour some tantalising seafood there, including the crabs I have mentioned.
