My baby is 7mos but I'm worried that the black marks on her skin would not be removed. Some say she will grow it out... I'm hesitant to use any creams on her...

I would take her to a doctor I don't think bug bites are supposed to turn black maybe she has an allergy.

Shea butter or cocoa butter will do the trick and they are natural, just get them in their original form.

Will I just rub it on the marks? I'll bring her to the doctor and ask about it.Thanks.

You make me to recall those days to bring up my small kid many many...years ago. My kid used to be bitten by insects like mosquitoes, bugs, ants and some other unidentified insects as we were staying in the country side. When my kid was young his skin was rather fair so the bite of insect could give a black mark as compared with other small kids. Normally the black mark would gradually vanish after a certain period of time. Now the skin of my grown up child is perfectly well and those former black marks during childhood are no more left. I don’t really know whether your actual situation of your baby is same as mine. I think it’s advisable to seek doctor’s advice so as to take proper treatment if needed. Looking forward to the early complete recovery. Good luck to you and your lovely baby.

Black marks caused by bug bites? I have never heard of that before, and I have three kids that are always getting bitten by something. I think you need to take the baby to a doctor, that just doesn't sound right.

I know the name of the chinese ointment....it's katinko. It's very affordable. you can even use it for rheumatism, numbness if limbs, muscular tensions, pain due to over exercise, chest pains, headaches and skin itch. By the way, sorry for the mispelled words from my last response. I don't know what happened there. anyway, goodluck...
