Making your own choices is a big thing, the freedom of doing things without considering anyone elses feelings, and one thing about being single which I think is major is the fact that you are free to meet someone new, where if you are married or in a serious relationship you are just not available for maybe that special someone to come into your life and that is always possible.

People who advise one to be single for more advantages lack vision of the their own future and I have come across the difficulties of single man or single woman. In the first place, if a person is not married, he/she is generally not entertained in family gatherings. Secondly, man /woman is a social animal, always looking for companion to share the views, share their difficulties, share their acheivements. How long one can remain single, when you come home from the work, you are alone, you read? You watch TV? How long? Can you cook own food? How many days? Freiends get married and they will be busy with their families. So for a meaningful life, one should get married, lead to happy life, indulge in procreation, foreget for a while the whole world when you get a child, the most joyous momemnt in the life, time passes without your knowledge, wife taking care of you, your health, all you need to do is to take care of them, what a joy being in a family. I advocate everyone to get married and be happy. Singe - a nomad? Must be really mad.!

Freedom is the biggest advantage of being single. You can do whatever you want and whenever you want since there are no restrictions. You can hang out with whoever you want to. There is no arguing about anything or sharing things with someone. There are less things to worry about when being single compared to being in a relationship. Being single is less stressful.

Well, I dont know if you are just sweet lemoning or something but its nice to spend and share your life with. Its nice to be cared for and also to care for in return. I have been into a single life and its ok too. And I love t share my life with and its a nice feeeling. I hope you will find you special someone.

You can go on a soul holiday, make many guy friends and get a dose of male company without the complications of being in a relationship, etc. You can do basically anything you want without someone to "control" your life.

The advantages of being single is you don't half to answer to nobody if you don't want to.

1. i can save money because i dont have to load all the time just to text or call a special someone. or just ask him if he had lunch already or breakfast or dinner or how was his day or how was work or whatever. 2. i get to sleep early because i dont have to deal with a special someone at nights. 3. i get to do dvd marathons during weekend because i dont have to go out on a date with a special someone. 4. i get to go out with friends on saturday nights without asking for a special someone's permission. 5. i get to drink without asking for a special someone's permission. 6. i dont get to take care of a special someone when he's sick. 7. i dont get to deal with annoying sisters or brothers of a special someone. 8. i dont get to be absent-minded just because of thinking about a special someone. ^__^ but grecy, i have been enjoying these advantages for years and im tired of them. LOL i want to experience the opposites of these advantages again! ^__^;;

One of the best thing about being a single is plenty of time to do many good things to our parent. I miss my parent.

Definitely thats the advantages of being single,and just like any other things in this world there also disadvantages of being single, and likewise of being married,and there also disadvantages too. But one thing for sure, whatever status we are now, as long as it is the choice we made we should stay happy so as to accept things whatever it is advantages or disadavantages.

I feel single life is very happy.I can plan my life unrestricted.I don't need consider others opinions.As for me,I like quiet,I don't like to be disturbed by others.so being sinlge is my favorite life style.

being single has many advantages especially in the aspect of your social life. You can date all the guys you want to go out with. You may go out anytime without asking permission (aside from parents of course) as well as stay in parties until the wee hours of the morning without someone bugging you to go home. There's nobody to knock the bathroom door when you feel like bathing the whole 1 hour. And when it comes to watching Tv you don't have to compromise your favorite shows as you have the remote control all to yourself.
