For those who don't know, Ron Paul is running for President in 2008. http://www.RonPaul2008.com for more info on the man and his ideas. For those who do know who he is check the image. And to those who think doing that is illegal this is direct from the Treasury Dept and commented by a supporter of Ron Paul."Defacement of Currency Defacement of currency is a violation of Title 18, Section 333 of the United States Code. Under this provision, currency defacement is generally defined as follows: Whoever mutilates, cuts, disfigures, perforates, unites or cements together, or does any other thing to any bank bill, draft, note, or other evidence of debt issued by any national banking association, Federal Reserve Bank, or Federal Reserve System, with intent to render such item(s) unfit to be reissued, shall be fined not more than $100 or imprisoned not more than six months, or both. notice "WITH INTENT TO RENDER SUCH ITEM(S) UNFIT TO BE REISSUED" . Clearly, writing Ron Paul 2008 on dollars is meant to be CIRCULATED and is not written on the bill with intent to take it out of circulation. Also it has been written in an area that does not impair the reading of or undertanding of the bill."

By reading over his site I kept telling myself that he sounded like he was liberterian so I was not surprised about it when you said he used to be in the liberterian Party. I understand why he went to the republican party because the other parties do not get any votes. I voted libertarian in the late 70's but felt that I was just throwing my vote away. The one thing that I see lacking in his issues is there is no mention of the health care crises.

I have read alot about him on here and it would be great to see some real changes in the political fields. Maybe I have become to negative in my thinking but I dont really think anyone stands a chance agains those that are backed by big business or some sort of private intrest. Great video seeing all the people in Iowa who actually cared enough to get out and try to make a change in the system. It is pretty inspiring but can it keep going or will people forget about it when its time to vote for the next american idol?
