is refidgerating consider baking?

i make this very yummy banana pie but instead of baking it, all i have to do is let it chill in the fridge 4 couple hrs. some say it CAN NOT be considered baking if it never goes into the oven and some say its a form of baking ( i think he just wanted some of my yummy pie in his stomach lol)what do u think?

There are lots of foods which are not cooked and which one doesn't bake in the oven. Technically, of course, you can't call it baking if it is not baked in the oven. Does it really matter whether it is baking or not? Banana pie is banana pie and all the better (more environmentally friendly) for not being baked!
