we've been on for almost five years now but until now, i dont have pet name for him. he calls me boss and he don't want me to call him boss too. he said, think of something unique... also i don't like calling him "honey" or "baby" or other terms of endearment coz he called his ex on that names...unfortunately, i cant think of anything that will suit to him or to his personality. can anyone help me? he is a jolly person. no dull moments with him. i am very proud of him... now i call him, "hoy" and "hoy kamote"... and i don't want to call him that way anymore... i want something sweet but unique... help me to think please.. thank you!

Actually, I have this belief that pet names judt out of nowhere, and that means you love your partner so much. I agree with the others. It would be really unique to call each other in your local dialect or something that you feel like calling them. I call my boyfriens "Loves" and vice versa, and I can tell that it is unique because it shows everything...love, trust, care, etc. It will actually be up to you on what to call for your partner. Good luck! :D

The best pet names are the ones that come from an experience you have together or just sorta happen. My boy friend doesn't really have a pet name for me, and I don't really have one for him. My sister on the other hand has one that she has been using for her boyfriend for years. It originally came from a tatoo he has on his arm. She decided that the tatoo was perfect for him and started calling him by the animal that the tatoo was of. Perhaps you should start trying things that just come into your mind when you are with him. Think about any unique or fun habits that he has and go from there. If it doesn't feel right or stick, just move to another one.

hhhmmm... if you don't want to call each other using the usual terms of endearment, i suggest that you choose a really sweet term from your local dialect. by doing so, you can also be unique..

If you call him, what do you say? I don't think anyone should advise you on what you should call your boyfriend. =) I call mine baby, love or 'langga' well. langga is our term of endearment that's my dialect for 'sweet love'. Because he's not from my place, then it's quite unique for him and he loves to hear it. You should say what you feel. =)

terms of endearments doesn't have to be unique all the time...i still like 'sweetheart' among all...
