Be prepared to find that this is HARD work. You may make some money at it, but you're unlikely to make a living out of it for a long time. Only established freelance writers can do that. You'll certainly make more than you will by writing for places like payperpost and such, but getting the breaks is the big problem. Thousands of people work part-time as freelance writers. I'm afraid it's a matter of doing it well, and joining the queue. Read as much as you can about how to do it: there are dozens of books in the libraries about writing as a freelancer. Don't just try to 'do it' without having educated yourself about it first. Otherwise you'll get discouraged very quickly. I know - I've been there.

well, good luck to you(^.^) I was also looking on how to earn online by writing and blogging. And I recently got into someone else's blog about these sites that pays writer/blogger to blog about something. Very informative site indeed. I've submitted my blog to two of the sites, and haven't heard from them yet, I have to wait for the staffs to review my blog and if they will accept my application or not. Have you heard about smorty.com and loudlaunch.com? Those are the two sites I wanna join. I've also read about payperpost, blogitive and other few sites that pays for blogger to write their opinion about something. Most of these sites pays a minimum offer of $5 per article you will write. I hope they will accept my blog(^.^)

Your best bet is to try to write for varied markets. I run a writing-related blog that offers market information, tips, and budget-friendly methods to get started. http://www.writeandearnaliving@blogspot.com
