How do you get your information for Auditions and things? Do You use myspace or Craigslist? Do You have an agent? Is it just word of mouth? I use myspace, craigslist, and a yahoo group. What about you?

Yeah I'm an actress but so far I don't have a way to learn about auditions and stuff like that usually I just come across a few things in a blue moon but I can't do it because it's not for people like me.

The right audition will come along don't worry. I know what you mean. I'm an inbetweener. I look older then a teenager but I look to young to play an adult role. It's frusturating. Sometimes I'll get I look to young for the role. When in fact the role is the age I am now.

It's like i would come across an audition and they either want someone who is taller than me and since i'm really short i wouldn't make the cut. Or they would want someone older. Or something like that. but no it's not the acting. I love acting and don't want to give it up.

Some of it is word of mouth. I was a film student and I heard a lot of these jobs and opportunities open from some of my classmates or even from former classmates who were working in the industry. There are also ways of finding out through insider publication like "Variety" which have listings. I have a subscription to Variety because of my professional ties to the WGA (Writer's Guild of America) and there are always postings for auditions, casting calls, etc. I don't know where you live, but heading out to L.A. is also a good bet, cause a lot of times you can go to a studio and there might be something casting with walk-ups.
