ok ive heard how brilliant ciao are so i decieded to join up myself. I completed several surveys which must come up to about £10ish....the thing is NONE of the money has been credited to my account!!! i sent an email to ciao telling them and all i got was something like sorry we cant check the surveys please read are help sections!!!! the help section for this says it takes about 2weeks to credit to the account or when the survey finishes. Its been about a month since i have completed the last one, because i refuse to do anymore, and still no joy. Anyone else having problems??

I have been with ciao for a while nugget and the money has always went into my account eventually but sometimes it has taken up to 6 weeks! If you have enjoyed the surveys keep doing them honey! As for myself I have been becoming really disillusioned as of late because I will spend 5 or 10 minutes answering their questions only to be told they have reached their quotent for this survey - which they should have known before I started, or that I am not eligible for the survey - well hello you sent it to me and you have my profile, and surely it only takes a few questions to find that out - not half a survey! Don't mean to sound negative , this is only my opinion , if you have been enjoying it please keep doing so xxx

Exactly! The amount of time you waste getting so far only to be told sorry you are not eligible! I find totally infuriating at least with Yougov EVERYONE is eligible and you are paid for EVERY survey you do!

Im not going to lie, i am having some problems with ciao more recently. I have a lot of experience with Ciao and i want to make one thing clear from the start - They are a legitimate company and they DO pay, i have been paid several times. Surveys can take anywhere up to one and a half months to be reflected in your ciao account earnings in my experience. Payments can be requested once you have £6 and they are paid once per month on or close to the 15th IF you requested the payment, and payments are made via bank transfer. I currently have £8 in my ciao account and im waiting on a few surveys to clear into that balance. I could request a payment but im going to wait till it builds up a bit before i do because i have no doubt Ciao will pay me. Its one of the best survey sites, dont give up on it.

thanks for being positive. The thing is i am new to it so i am a bit sceptical especially when it says it takes 2weeks and it hasnt appeared.. Although it has never asked me for my log in name at the end either... I will stay faithfull for another couple of weeks then and see what happens cheers for your reply

when completing a survey it does say you may need to enter your username at the end of the survey but i have never had to. and remember it takes longer than 2 weeks for a survey to be credited to your account normally.

I gave up with Ciao years ago because the surveys you get, you start to complete them then get half way through only to be told that 'sorry you are not eligible' they were time wasters and refused to do them out of principle. I don't like the site personally or the way it was run. I hope you get your money. I prefer to do surveys which pay you like yougov where you are eligible for EVERY survey and the pay is much better and the surveys are short too. Good luck!

I don't mean to do a ganging up thing here but I do have to agree with wolfie here! Although I am still with ciao I cannot remember the last time it let me complete a survey - it takes a long time to reach payout when you cannot get to complete them! I am glad though that your experience is good and hopefully it will pick up for me too! xxx

I have to disagree with you on this. YouGov pays 50p per survey, Ciao pays more than that on average. I have been paid many times from Ciao so the site is not a waste of time. You can only get paid from YouGov once you have $50 which can take up to one year to get paid from. Ciao has a £6 minimum payout which is reachable within two weeks.

Here is a little tip for you,if you log in every day to ciao, you will get more surveys!

If you rely on surveys as your only source of income from Ciao you could be waiting a long time. I've been with Ciao for several years now and I make my money from writing consumer reviews there. You get paid per member read as long as they rate you "helpful" or above for your review. The surveys CAN be very annoying as often you get kicked out 5 minutes into completing a survey saying you do not meet the criteria and this has been the cause of many gripes against Ciao with me and many other members - long standing and new. If you enjoy writing about stuff you've used or films you've seen or books you've read you can write reviews and get paid for them. I've never yet had a payment issue with the site since I've joined. x

I hope you get your money. Still in CIAO for 1 1/2 year and receive low surveys. When I'm near to payout I receive an e-mail that ask me to complete my profile. I'm surprise for that. So I access my member's area and discovered that all my money is gone. All the time I had like a member is gone. My register was after march 2008. I send an e-mail to ask what happened and I'm waiting till now (3 weeks). I think that it is to don't do the payment. I never more do any survey from they.
