Well I put my plan into action today and I actually joined a few of the ladies in the canteen and it was great! I felt much better and a few of my doubts were shared, even one of the women said it would have been nicer if there were a few more men on the course and another lady even agreed that it wasn't as good as course as the previous time. We talked about the state of society and how things...

Maybe it's the non verbal communication I give off negative vibes? or maybe it's my facial features, I probably have a miserable face s that wards people off in their droves. People do judge you tremendously by the way you look! That's the way I feel, if I looked like Brad Pitt I certainly wouldn't have any problem about feeling invisible or ignored all the time.

My pleasure, I have a keen interest in psychology, hence the courses, humans are so damn complex aren't they! Glad you enjoyed the course from yours truly ha ha! Communication is so basic and yet it's so damn difficult if near impossible.

Sending you a big big Wolfie hug because you are my sis and you deserve it, if I am NOT allowed to give up then you are not allowed to either, we will fight and we will win! Our time will come we just have to have hope, we need to cling onto it xx

The tutor can make so much difference to the course, I have been to boring courses before but because the tutor was so warm, friendly and had a great sense of humour I continued. Nothing worse than having a course who hate and a tutor that you don't get on with.

I think most of forget that time is just a valuable commodity as money, probably more so! Yes I lost money but travelling to and from the course plus the course duration is four hours, four hours x 6 is a lot of time when I could be using it to better uses. Nothing worse than sitting in a classroom watching the time!

I always think 'as long as you have tried' that makes a difference, if you don't try you'll never know! You did your best I think that is all you can ask of yourself, we can't be good at everything!

A tutor can make all the difference to a course! I tried web design once and I was so bored with it I gave up and that was damn expensive too, I should have fought to get my money back but I was going through a lot of problems at the time and didn't need the stress, and it just wasn't worth the aggravation trying to fight. and sometimes it's best to move on and learn by your mistakes, costly or...

I am the other way round, I wish that I had gone to self defence classes when I was 8 or 9 sure would have saved me from the relentless cruel bullying I suffered all throughout my childhood and certainly into my teens. Hindsight is truly a wonderful thing!

Exactly a lot of people think of the loss of money, but then isn't time a greater asset to us mortal humans? We can replace money, we cannot replace time!

Have You Ever Paid For A Course Then Quit?

Most of us have gone to or thought about learning something new to enrich our lives, and going to college as a mature student does help us learn new things, if it's a course we have fancied or...

Hi Wolfie,

Hope you are doing fine.I am bit inundated lately. My sister, with the kids, have come over and they are just driving me nuts. Am loving it though. I promise to catch up with you as soon as I can.

Take care and have fun!
Lots of fun,
