i don't know in which category this post should belong to but i'm writing it anyway coz i really need help/advise on what to buy. it's been almost 4 months since we moved in to a small apartment with my sister who's almost always on travel. i'm not one to keep house nor do i cook much. but i'm so tired of fastfood take-outs, i want to buy a kitchen appliance. but it has to be small and multi-functional. i'm trying to decide between an electric stove, a microwave oven, an electric grill or something. i don't have much room for a bigger appliance and i don't want to buy something that i wouldn't be able to use on a regular basis. if you have any advise on what kitchen appliance to buy, it would be most appreciated. budget, size and functionality in mind. thanks!

Hmmm, an electric stove would be best coz with it you can do many things like boil, fry, steam and even grill. The microwave and the electric grill can be of limited use for you.

You may not be able to fry or grill with a microwave but you can cook with it. You can even cook a turkey with one, the only problem being is the turkey won't get browned. They have just about every type of microwave meal imaginable if a person doesn't want to cook. Microwaves are much smaller than a stove, too.

There are some companies that offer combi-appliances. The most common is the microwave with an electric stove on top. The size is only 20% bigger than a normal microwave.

i love to cook so i would recommend an electric stove because you can do lots of stuff with it that the micowave and the grill may not be able to. goodluck!
