There are currently several funding opportunities for organizations that work with kids. Most are geared for schools and day cares but some are for other youth groups. This list was taken from the Kids site. It is a great site to find all kinds of information on kids and gardening. I hope you can use some of these grants to help the kids in your communities. This is just a partial list and if you would like to have more listed, just add the request in the comment area and I will try to add more later. This is what I do for a living! My job at the school is to write grants for the various projects that we have going on all over campus. It is very rewarding, and this time of year, it is very busy. I have actually applied for our school for a couple of these. We are a private school, so we don't qualify for some that are out there.
