I`m sitting here participating im mylot discussions and at the same time looking after a little toddler for his mum ,sheis working . He is just so funny he makes me laugh by just some of the things he does .One toy i have here is a shape sorter that plays music when the correct shape is placed in the corresponding hole .Well this little fellow has worked out thet he can play the music without placing the shapes in ( thats too hard ) he presses the little button and then breakes out in a fit of giggling he is just so happy and a delight to look after . Are your little ones easy to care for or do they require your undivided attention ?

Yes children certainly are _hope_ and what joy they can bring into our otherwise ordinary lives. I can honestly say that my grandchildren bring much more joy into my life than my children did. Some people might be offended by that but the simple fact is that when my children were younger there were different demands on my time etc. Now with the grandchildren we usually only see them for maybe a week maximum at a time and then they leave. Because of the limited amount of time, we make the most of what we have. I also have to say that with years comes some maturity and we know just how quickly time can pass. With children we tend to think that they will stay young forever but by the time grandchildren come along, we have the experience and knowledge to realise they will soon fly the coop. It is wonderful that you had a child to care for and bring that joy back into your life. I think I read somewhere that you were moving and wonder if you actually did make the move or not? If so, my wish for you is that you have found a wonderful place to live and that there is much joy in your life.

I have a toodler infact a one yuear old girl and she is a delight to look after. I remember I had bought a ABC learning toy that plays the sound of the alphabet if you press the right key my son has leqarned his ABC from it. Now this girl is using the same toy her brother had played with and what she has figured out is instead of pressing each letter just stopm foot on the letters while sitting against a wall and some noise will come so she is happy to use it like that. There goes all play and learn activity.lol. Kids are so great. I tried teaching body parts to her . to stick her tongue out and point to it was the skill shje learned with one attemp and now I am teaching her to hold her nose when I ask here where is your nose instead of holding her nose she is everytime holding mine. Its so funny, I think she will be the one grown women who would want a nose like someone else always.lol

My son, daughter in law and their 2 yr. old live with me. I have the joy of being around a little one everyday. My grandson is truly a joy, he is such a sweet buddy. He is so funny and loving, he also can be ornery, but that just adds to his charm. I am a proud gramma, I could go on and on. :)

Mine is , he is 10 months old...We have our time together and its an absolute pleasure, but sometimes he is quite happy just to sit and play by himself , If I nick onto the computer he will sit near me and play, my daughter was like that too.. I suppose they sometimes just need time to themselves.
