Some say that it is obnoxious while others just do not care. How about you? Do you show your affection to your partner publicly?

It depends on what kind. I hate when people are like hard-core making out right in the middle of a store or something, because nobody wants to see that. But hand-holding or a simple kiss on the cheek or lips is fine. I have nothing against that.

I think it depends a lot of when and where. If you're just out in the street or at a busstop in the middle of the day, a quick kiss and hugging is perfectly appropriate. If you're out on a club or bar, and the atmosphere is right, then making out and light groping can work. Personally I don't mind what you do, as long as you're happy and I don't have to look. :D

It must not be obsene and errotic I dont care a couple pecking each others cheeks on the middle of the road but going all the way on the road side as if they are the only human beings with passion is ethically unacceptable!

Yeah she could do it on trains no problem. But let's just hope she's the only one he does it with on the train. *LOL* Lustful acts of publicly showing what lovers could do are not cute. Instead I think they've not been given due attention that's why they need attention from others. Well, I'd do kinky stuff too, but I'd limit it to the views of my partner. For he's the one I love and I'd like that he's the only one who knows the real me. =)

I say do what makes you happy and don't worry about people or what they say. Just don't get all freaky in public like it's your bedroom

It's ok for me, for this is something that makes you see how people really try to make their affection known to their partners. Different folks, different strokes, so, it doesnt bother me at all, as long their display of affection is not disturbing other people's sensibilities...

public display of affection could be on different levels. some are obnoxious, some are forgivable. it is of my opinion that too much of something is bad and if such actions are better done in the comforts of your bedrooms, then such acts should be frowned upon. a little sweet kiss, a little hug, holding hands, whispering sweet nothings are forgivable and acceptable for most of us.
