Well.., I'd prefer to be in a silent place somewhere in the outskirts of a city. You can have peace as well as have good fun in the city. What do you mylotters think??

I really like where I live. It's a quiet place, but about 20 minutes away there's a mall and a lot of noisy places!! I guess you could call it the outskirts...

I'd rather choose silent place than noisy, for some reason. However, it doesn't bother me anyway. I am living in the City and it's not that noisy here. I was in the silent place before, with my family. There are lots of opportunities when you're living in the city compared to the provinces (silent places). On the other side... knowing that there are lots of opportunities in the city, I'd choose to live in the city. ~mar

Hi there.. I have lived my whole life in quiet places, and now I wud certainly like to change it, and go to some noisy place, but not too noisy.. I wud prefer to live in a place which has an active night life so that I can enjoy all those things which I had always craved in my life...

I would like a quiet place, but it still has to have public transportation. Or have things in bike-riding range at the very least. I lived in the outskirts of Chualar, CA, population 400 something at the time. It was less than a mile to the bridge over the interstate, and the commercial district was right there with THE store and THE restaurant- ah yes, there was also THE post office. No theatre though, unless you get an invitation to watch a school play ...

I have lived in such a noisy place (NYC) my whole life that I never lived in a quiet place before, so I can't compare. It must be nice to have some peace and quiet.

there's nothing like going home to a quite and peaceful place after a long day's work.
