An Apology to all my friends, both old and new...

I have not been very active lately. As a lot of you know, and maybe some that don't, I am going on a trip soon and will be gone for a little over 2 weeks. I have had so much to do and so much on my mind, that I am neglecting a lot of stuff here at Mylot. I am not even going to make payout next month.. (a first for me, I always make payout) I just wanted to say sorry to everyone for not being as active in their posts as I once was. I promise when I get back, I will get back on track.
Have any of you been a little less active lately? Why? Good plans or no?

Aww monkey, why the apology? I'm more INACTIVE than you. I have no plan of having one of those pleasure trip to Cuba. I just don't feel motivated enough to hang on for now.
I lost a lot of my supportive friends last month plus the recent fiasco with my account, so no...I need to take a break. Go ahead and enjoy your vacation. I'm sure your little monkeys will have a blast there. :)

LOL, monkey, why the sad face. You know where to holler me. I just feel so sad lately because the atmosphere here is different now. I'm sure you also notice it. Gone are the days when we're all festive and cheery. I'm going to miss you too, monkey. :)

Well, don't worry because I just came from Florida
and I haven't been active either. Wow! Miami is so
different now. Ten years can do so much to a place.
Before it used to be mostly a cuban community ,and
now it belongs to so many people from so many countries. Well, the first thing I did was to eat
cuban food because here in Kentucky is mostly mexican. I went to a cuban bakery and ate a bunch
of cuban sweets (Pastelitos) even my husband who is
not cuban was eating a lot. Well, When are you going
to your trip?

Cuban food !! mmm boy do I miss it. Homemade is ok, but I can't wait for the REAL thing..lol. I am flying to Miami July 25th and then to Cuba July 26th. I won't be back home until August 10th !!

oh dear, you don't have to be sorry.. that's all right! actually, i don't have enough time too these past few days and had not very active as yours... i didn't even have new posted discussions this time.. i just respond to my friends' discussion if got an extra time but i only have fifteen to thirty minutes sometimes.. i wanted to do mylotting at night but i'm too tired to have it and i even feel asleep infront of my computer... hehehe... well, good luck to your trip! enjoy!

You are missed and will be missed. It is good to know that you are only going to be away temporarily!
Sometimes we all need a break. I know I do. If I have too much going on, I just can't write or respond effectively. Sometimes I just am to on edge to even sit at the computer.

hi michelle,
although, i am going to miss you a lot, nothing can beat the amount of happiness that you will get on your visit to Cuba. especially, i can imagine the glitters in the eyes of the kids when they will see their grandparents for the first time ever - it's a lifetime experience. so, just have a blast there and do come back with lots of stories to share.

It's okay. I have been away before,and it was for months! Lol. We all have things to do other than mylot, and it's a small matter only. Anyway, good luck for your trip and have a nice trip! After you're back, you could tell us your adventure? Happy journey, my friend!

I'm just as active but there's so much to do here I'm getting caught up in it all...so much reading, responding, commenting, comments on profile pages, checking this and that, following links, more reading, signing up at other sites, it all just goes on and on and payment wise I'm going backwards at less than 1 cent a post. I won't make payout this month (first time) and at this rate not next month either.
Enjoy your time away, maybe when you get back there will be some changes for the better here.

Hello misheleen, this break and trip was announced earlier, so it was rxpected. Amidst all your preperatory work for the trip you found time to post this nicely worded discussion, that is great. Don't be sorry, we are all glad that you are up to meet your in-laws and your kids their grant parents. The most auspicious is your hubbies meeting with his parents. I feel very much glad about that. no worries, I've been off mylot quite a bit too! and no creative juices flowing so not many discussions to post. sometimes it's really hard thinking of meaningful discussions, not to mention discussions that people will feel like responding to!
I've been kinda busy with work, and family gatherings, so overall i would say the plans have been good. lots of real life happening so less time spent being bored and therefore trying to entertain myself and keep my brain alive on mylot!

Enjoy your trip. Come back and tell us about it. Yes, I also have been less active as of late. I have my summer chores to attend to outside and a family crisis to deal with. No need to apologize. I am also not going to make payout and at this point, I don't even care. Life sucks.....and then you have children who break your heart. Yes, I am depressed. Please do me a big favor. Enjoy yourself for both of us. When you return, cheer me up with stories and pictures. That will help me so much. Chow!

I will bring back stories and pictures. I do hope all improves for you. It sounds like you have your plate very full. I know about children breaking your heart, I hope it can be put back together again..
