I THINK I may be pregnant!!!

I have yet to take a pregnancy test but I'm a week late. I have all the symptoms that my period is about to come...bloating, cramps, lower back pain, sore breasts, irritable, etc....but NO period! I think I'm pregnant because I feel different this time. Also, I have been waking early...like 4am, 5am in the past few days. It happened when I was pregnant with my 1st child too. I think I'm going to wait a few more days before taking the test. I don't want to take it too early and it's negative when I'm actually positive. But I will know by the end of this week. I'm excited and apprehensive at the same time. If I'm pregnant, my husband will be away on deployment when the baby arrives. Anyone else had these symptoms (like period is coming but did not) and found out they were pregnant?

There are times when it's normal that period doesn't come out, some due to varied reasons but some due to stress.
If I were you, you should try going to the doctor to confirm it. It's way better than having to test yourself. There have been people complaining about the unsure results of the pregnancy tests (home kits).
So to clear your mind, you should at least go to the doctor. At least your hubby would know now if you are pregnant or what.

I used a home pregnancy test (Clear Blue). It's one of those that actually has the words "Pregnant" or "Not Pregnant". And it clearly showed "Pregnant". I hate those tests with the lines. Those are stupid and really hard to tell especially early in the pregnancy.

Yeah, You said it right. Sometimes our of nervousness you tend to read and re-read the instructions. *LOL*
There isn't anything like that here in my country (the one which says pregnant or not pregnant). But it's good that that is available there.
But still, laboratory exam is the best for me.

yes I have felt this way with both my pregnancies I can see why you will be excited and nervous at the same time.. When I was pregant with my daughter I was in Ohio and my husband, then boyfriend at the time was stationed at NC, and when she was born he was on a MEU float and did not see her untl she was 3 months old. keep us updated =)

Oh how exciting for you- I hope that you are pregnant if that is what you want. A new baby- wow- It stinks that your husband won’t be there for the birth- but hopefully he won’t miss much more than that- I spotted when I was pregnant- thought I was having a light period that month and then found out I was pregnant- Good luck to you- Let us know for sure when you find out!

Our cycle is different from one another, and there are times when our menstrual cycle changes its routinary cycle. It's great to hear that you are expecting pregnancy and I think its okay to take some test at this time and take another in another week if you didn't menstruate then.. update us to the developments.. have a great day!

i had basically the same sypmtoms with mine. with this last pregnancy i was sick a lot too pretty much from the start. congrats on being pregnant (if you are) I'm sorry that your husband will be away when the baby comes.

Hey! Yes I had those symptoms with my child but I also had a period for the first 3 months! I also had my hubby on deployment while i had my little girl! Good luck and lets us know the outcome. I dont know how you are going to wait that long. I would be testing everyday for a while!

No I have never been pregnant, but i feel for you. I hope everything goes ok, and if you are pregnant, I wish the best of luck to you and your husband. I just noticed you posted this 2 months ago, so what has happened since then? I'm sure you know now! Lol.

If your period is regular and your delayed, chances are you are pregnant with those symptoms. I also had the same symptoms. Congrats! Have a good life ahead!
