In relationships one partner is usually attracted to the other by a specific physical feature first. Which physical feature did your partner say attracted them to you from the very start? Do they still compliment you on this?

Well, gabs, you know what they say-the eyes are the windows of the soul. He must have looked into your eyes and got a glimpse of your beautiful soul. I like a man who is not stingy with the compliments, and I don't mind giving them right back.

My husband has always said I was beautiful and he tells me that all the time. I can change my hairstyle, put on weight and still he thinks I am beautiful. Makes me feel good about myself when he does tell me. I on the other hand was attracted to his brains LOL I know sounds silly but he is a very smart man and he opened my mind up to a lot of things I was not aware of or tuned into. LOL He is very analytical too and has very good problem solving skills and is also a good negotiator. But to top it off, he is the most patient person I have ever known and I am surprised he has put up with me for so long.

Oops I kind of went astray there, you asked about physical feature and I would have to say his height :)

Well, maddysmommy, anyone can tell how much you love and admire your hubby. That's a good thing. It is also good that he loves you for who you are. That's what it takes to make a relationship work.

According to my hubby, he says that when he saw me and my two boys in the healthclub, he instantly thought, "Oh darn, I bet she is married." He was attracted to our red hair! Then when he found out that I was rooting for the same college basketball team as he was,(there was a basketball game on the bigscreen TV) he was really intrigued! I suppose he tries to complement me on my red hair....what little hasn't turned grey! I attempt to put a wash in it from time to time, but none are the exact shade as my original!

Red hair is very eye-catching, crazynurse. My hair is black, but that's what my ex has always told me he loved when he first laid eyes one me.

Other than my personality, he said my smile. He still compliments me on how beautiful I am all the time. He even has started to use new words for complimenting me, like goddess ;)

hmm i think not. it was my constant nagging that did the trick (we were almost room mates in a student apartment so he could not avoid me). He found my physical figure that he finds absolutely hard to resist later--the line from my hips up to the belly, by the side on the waist---i do not know the expression for it). Maybe it is weird but he also admires my hands.

When my hubby and I met I was a Gm for a restaurant chain, my district manager was out of town for about a month so I was at his "main store" overseeing the area for the month. I came home and stopped in to see what my Assistant GM was up to and how the staff was doing in my abscence. It was my day off so I had driven the couple hours back to town. When I arrived at my store my hubby was working as a "manager in training". I was upset at my assistant for hiring a "MIT" in my abscence, and took him into the office to tell him off. He told me to give this guy a chance, really great person, yada, yada. I briefly went into the kitchen to introduce myself and subtlely let him know as far as I was concerned he needed to prove he was worth the money he was getting paid, and I left. He later told me that he was in love with me at first site, and had been attracted to me because of the pigtails in my hair and the way I was dressed. I guess a hoodie, shorts and flipflops is all it takes! LOL Sorry for the long story, we met 6 years ago today, so I'm a little nostalgic. LOL
