We have a Front Loader. Sometimes I miss the Top Loading ones, but I Love the one we own, and it does a Good job. I think it would all come down to personal preference.

i currecntly dont have a washer...how sad...i end up going to my parents house to do laundry...they have top loading..i have never used a front loader...for some reason i dont think i will like them because i think loading laundry in the dryer is no fun, but ill never know until i use one i guess.

Mine are front because they are stacked right now. Once we get our own house they will be side by side.

I have a top loading washer. Around here, the front loading ones costs a lot more money so I stick with what I can afford.

I have worked with both front loading and the top loading washing machine. I prefer the top loading washing machene. It is my easier to handle and suppose if you suddenly have water cut then atleast you can use buckets to fill the machine

I have only ever had a top loaded washer. But I really want one of those heavy duty washers that you can do large loads in. The ones with the glass front that loads in the front. The washer and dryer look identical and are about 5 feet in height. My friend has one and he can do 16 pairs of jeans in one load!!!!! If I only had the room and the money for those I would be all over them.

I currently have a top loading washer. It has just gone out on me, however. My daughter was wanting a new washer with a bunch of fancy features on it (her husband is a doctor and she wants one that has a sanitization cycle on it for his scrubs). I am getting her old (only 3 years old) front loading washer. I'm really excited about it. I've used it several times and think it's great. The agitator has chewed up and ruined a couple of nice comforters with my old machine and I won't have this problem with the new one.

I like a front loader better, we allways had front loaders at home so I'm used to that and it's easy to use when you are more experienced with that type of washer allready. Also, you can put the dryer on top which saves space, with a top loader... oh well, need I say more? :)
