Read any good books lately?

I'm looking for a new book to read but I'm not sure what I want. Has anyone read a really good book they would like to share?

Any writers out there? What are you working on?

Both myself and my husband like to write fiction in our spare time. Does anyone else enjoy writing? I tend to stick to historical dramas but I'm using nanowrimo this year to try sci-fi.

Would you get rid of a pet if you had a baby?

Some people feel that newborns and animals don't mix. Would you get rid of a beloved pet or try to make it work?

Do birds make good pets?

I've never had one. Are they as nice to have as say, cats or dogs?
