*shrugs* Often times it just happens like this. I've had discussions that I thought were really interesting and clever that got very few responses as well, and I think usually it's just a matter of them getting lost among the tons of discussions that are out there. I've answered some of your discussions, but I must admit that some days I don't because I am too easily annoyed by the fact that you so often say "u" instead of "you". I know, that's very picky of me, and I shall immediately make up for it by going to respond to some of your discussions. lol

Oh my god.I never thought about it.I have been using so many of them like u=you,r=are, etc etc.. May be this is annoying some more of my fellow mylotters too.I'll surely change this habit of mine and i am very thankful to 'u' oops 'you' for pointing out my mistake.

I have heard many of the more active mylotters talk about how they don't like IM-speak or those types of shortcuts, so I could see how that could be hurting your chances of getting responses. I have looked at several of your discussions today, and many of them were interesting. Thinking back, I must have seen them under "discussions my friends started" and skipped them without even giving them a chance, which I feel badly about now. =p

welcome to the world of mylot. If you want a thousand responses you really have to put something simple like "I dye my hair, do you?"...the really good, intelligent discussion get nothing. If you post a discussion with no expectation of a number of responses then you can't be disappointed...thats what I do

That happens to many discussion regardless of quality or interest. There are so many new discussions being posted here that it is normal. I found that the best way to continue with a discussion to have more answers is to bring it up but making a comment or answering something on our own discussion. THis brings it up again and more people will answer again. THis means that the discussion might not get a lot of responses right away but it will build up in time.

Sorry shashank, I haven't really replied much to your discussions not because I don't want to, but maybe because I have so many more to answer on top of my own. I will try to get to some of them by the end of the week.

Yes, don't know either, I guess there's so many topics out there its tough trying to find just the right one to tickle peoples fancy. I've not started many discussions lately, been busy working and RL stuff. Good luck though, I'll try to make sure I try and participate in your discussions.

it happens sometimes. i think many would suggest you to form a kind of networking here. i mean by friends.though you may have added lots of them but usually people just don't want to reply to your discussions because they don't see any activity on your part on theirs. sometimes discussion is lost too soon as it was not started in a certain interest area or in a wrong one. things like that also impact number of responses.. anyway i try my best to respond to your those discussion on which i could contribute something..:)

Dear shashank1986 Well I can understand how bad it is when your discussion won't get much replies .. Even I used to start many discussions and feel bad when I don't get response to my discussions .. but you know what .. now I really don't have time to think about such a small thing .. I don't care whether I am getting responses to my discussions or not .. I keep on starting discusssions and keep on responding to my friends discussions if I feel them nice and easier ones. There is one more criteria which I choose while responding to discussions -- it is -- I respond to discussions which has atleast minimum 4 lines and maximum can be -- 6 - 10 just anything. The member who used to start a one liner -- is violating as per mylot guidelines and they won't earn anything for this and neither that person who respond to their discussions. Secondly I would like to suggest you that you keep on responding to your friends discussions and you will find that they will also respond to their discussions in turn. Happy mylotting and hope to see some of your discussion with many responses.
